I’m subbed in and ready to go.
The perfect autopots medium mix has yet to be discovered yet. I’m trying just pure coco and an airdome this time with the 8.5 liter pots. Will it work, I have no idea but I know a few that have done it. I also find it much easier to clean, recycle & reuse the coco without the perlite or hydroton in with it.

Thank you for stopping in Hemi! Glad you are following along. Been on an organic kick for the last few grows, and I'm really enjoying the end product. Yield has suffered greatly, but it's still enough for me and the misses.
So I also have a GWK in a straight coco (perlite res) 8.5L Autopot with airdome, that I'm trying out Mega Crop nutes with. Might just journal them in the Autopot section, just don't really want another thread to tend to.

So you went coco top to bottom? No res at all? Very cool, hope you get excellent results. I feel 8.5L of coco will grow plenty o plant, to me that's the point of diminishing returns for coco. Anywho, really glad your back in the game brother.

Just straight coco for me this time. I’m not saying it’s right but we will see if it works. I know Hans was leaning this way before he left. I anticipate greater root growth with photo ladies as they will be vegging on my schedule. Which works for me because I have grown four photo ladies in this tent in 5 gallon DWC and fought growth till the end. They were fricking monsters. I’m hoping that by using a smaller pot along with the coco will keep them a little smaller. I still anticipate them filling the tent if I do not scrog them. The removal of the one mutant will make scrogging a little more of a challenge.

Yeah I remember everyone giving me flack for not filling the 3.9G pot to the top , I knew those were too big from the beginning. Great for soil/coco medium though. 2 gallon coco will pretty much max the potential of an auto other than DWC whose in a league of its own, and Hans of course. Hope he is all right. But like you said, with photo's you can veg all you want.

Airdomes are proprietary for Autopots, an airstone will be better than nothing.

Yeah you can do different things, results may vary. Care to elaborate on your plan?

Do you have a link to the air-dome you use? I searched amazon but not sure what they look like honestly

This will be my third attempt at a water only grow, first attempts needed food by flower.
But this time I really loaded up the bottom of the pot with a good amount of guano and castings along with GBD SS at a little heavy rate. So we'll see if she'll make it all the way. No matter the outcome, fine smoke will be the prize.

A little extra on the bottom should carry them through. As you've noticed, less weight but a better end result by going organic.

So true, I can barely bring myself to smoking the chem fert plants these days. Still gets you there, but with less pleasure involved.
