day 4 - happy babies no worries

one OD that may not do anything... but that is of course why I germinated 2 seeds for each strain... currently brainstorming on what to do with the non-keepers lol
might pick up another water farm for the non-keepers to share and try to squeeze everything in , but this could be a bad idea so I am stewing on it... I don't want to detract from the main show

I have never used them before @indoorpro so I hope they meet my requirement lol

I decided to use them combined with the decision to germ 2 seeds for every plant... I figure they can get big enough in the blocks for better determination of keepers. Before now, I have tried to keep everything... mutants, struggling seeds, baby them every step of the way etc...

but I have moved past this now... I have enough seeds thanks to Mephisto !

i never liked the idea of uing the cubes for auto not for very long anyways i just feel it gonna stop the tap root heading down for the bottom of your pot like it would say it was in its final pot or even a 1 or 2 liter pot just my thought on the subject maybe im wrong

yes the cubes would indeed double the rockwool thickness (from 2.5 to 5 cm) all around the plug... I am thinking (hoping? lol) this isn't going to make much difference open to input... I can always just choose the keepers before the roots hit the blocks if people think the blocks would impact negatively?

in the case of the OD, if the one doesn't germ, I can always just place the plug into the hydroton without the block as per usual as an experimental control... If the one OD doesn't germ I will do just that

Or maybe it's just a question of timing, when to move the cube to its final context so the rots can grow out without hesitation?
I've no idea about this growstyle, just thinkin' along with plant development in mind
