Mephisto Genetics Waterfarm Mephistos - new testers - Fugue State, Forum Stomper, Orange Diesel, Strawberry Nuggets

Day 10
I did a reservoir change and mixed enough GH FloraNova Bloom with fresh tapwater for 300ppm* solution

  • +70 - 80ppm from my tapwater for a total of 370ppm. I will not include the tapwater ppm in the numbers moving forward

This brought the solution to a nice solid YELLOW ~pH 6.0 with the GH indicator solution which is nice and means I no longer have to worry about measuring pH when mixing nutrients moving forward but to be honest I still do it because it only takes like 10 seconds to do... :jointman:
We will see how pH stable the Bloom remains at this initial lower-than-500ppm while in the waterfarms for the next day or two. So far I have been having to make pH adjustments daily which is a PITA :wall: but is to be expected as this happens to me every time with low ppm hydroponics / hydroton
But it is nearly over now and like I have said once the ladies are taking close to 500ppm you never really have to worry about pH again unless you feel like you need to (all depends how OCD you are etc... :crying:)
The girls appear happy! going to be fun to watch them grow up for sure :greenthumb:

oh gosh alright it is going to make a [HASHTAG]#firsttimedirtfarmer[/HASHTAG] out of me but here we go I guess it is appropriate the dirty little rejects be become the 'soil sisters' haha

I am sure it will get tight for space but I am willing to give the soil sisters a fighting chance and it will be a fun soil experiment however they will be the first sacrificed for the needs of others lol

Nice dude. Glad to see you’re squeezing in the [HASHTAG]#SoilSisters[/HASHTAG] :d5:
Did you purchase the KindSoil yet? Just my opinion but I’d grab @gbd @mephisto super soil amendment over the KindSoil every time. I grew a couple NLs with KindSoil and the deficiencies kicked in with bloom phase. PK boosters, Cal Mag and Recharge saved the harvest but far from a water only system. That being said, I have seen some nice plants grown with it as well. Just wanted to give you a friendly heads up. With your :greenthumb:I’m sure the ladies will flourish.
