Almost time to lay off the fertilizers. Two plants. On both the pistils up top are white/brown 50/50, mostly white below. The trichomes are clear, to my unpracticed eye. There's quite a bit of yellowing on one and predominately green the other. The difference in yellowing I believe because they were fed the same diet and one is quite a bit larger. She may have been underfed. Then an unnecessary flushing....yellowing, the large leaves. The harvest parameters are likely to be 7-21 days from now. But I don't know any better. I'd like to cut when the first amber trichomes turn. (I know that's pretty precise). Meantime I've been feeding to replenish nutrients in case its 3 weeks out still.

Q)How quickly can it happen that the trichomes clear today can take on that cloudy appearance? Are there any tell tale signs?

Only way you can tell try color is to use a small 100 x microscope that you can get online or radio shaak for about 15 bucks. You take a few bud leaves cut them off and check them out with the scope.
