I've seen them recover from this and produce a superb plant. I've also seen them die. Generally speaking they recover.

Hope this makes you feel better, but the real deal clone GG4 have twisted leaves and purple stems in their genes like it's a normal. Mangked leaves atleast point to good genetics XD
