Well. Things are going downhill fast

I used to check run off with photos, with autos your on a clock, check pH of your feed, and every couple weeks check pH of the root zone. I prefer a soil slurry test taken an inch or so down. A pH shift in the zone will be much harder to catch quickly when testing the waste run off. And with autos, every minute counts.

FYI- PH pens don’t read distilled water very well. That’s what I was told by Apera, who makes the unit I have. Once you add nutes or some sort of solid that’ll dissolve, it’ll have an easier time reading the pH. For checking actual soil PH, which is very important, the Accurate 8 soil pH probe works great!

When you topped/fimmed your plants, was it within the window laid out by AutoBeast? Between day 14 and day 20 at the 4th node? If you haven’t read his thread, I highly recommend it:

Really, your plants don’t look all that bad, imo. Not compared to a lot of people's issues. If anything, maybe a little stunted; Autos can be pretty sensitive and stunt easily. I can tell you all about that! Lol!

Good luck and happy growing!

You know, I think it was a little past that window.. they weren’t flowering much yet they just barely showed gender around that time, still looked like veg to me but yeah autos are a bit different of a plant.. this is a Learning experience for sure

Yeah, it’s really important to top within that window to avoid stunting. I highly suggest you take a little time and read through that thread. I’ve actually been doing better with LST but I’m determined to figure out AutoBeast’s system and get similar results for myself. Lol! I’ve been struggling with a water quality issue. Give it a read, I promise you’ll benefit from it!

I’m pretty much done here, I don’t know what the heck these plants want.. run off still comes out at or damn near 6.5.. I got a soil probe, the good one but apparently it takes weeks to arrive.. pretty sure everyone will be dead by then

Are those Smartpots..?

did you wash them in plain hot water before use?

Also, I have had a plant look like yours, was advised to do a heavy flush in PH'ed water.. 6.0
I took two 5 gallon buckets..placed pot in one and filled one with water then ph adjusted...poured into bucket with plant just about to the rim of the pot..let it soak, then lifted up and down a few times...took pot out and let drain for a few minutes, I repeated this about 5 times.
The plant turned around and gave me 3.5oz
Had what appeared to be several deficiencies going on...possibly bad outdated nutes etc...
Later down the road ,I was reading where those smart pots can cause problems right at the beginning...due to the Chemical leeching etc. Some advise to soak and wash in hot water to leech out possible chemical contaminants . I do have to note, that they said different manufacturers use different fabrics to make their pots, and all are not the same when it comes to how or what is used into making them.

I didn’t think of washing them in hot water to be honest, shoot I used to grow in plastic grow bags, I figured this is a step up... so the flushing you’re describing, it’s not going to kill them? I’m so afraid to do anything to them because they seem so freakin unhappy right now like no matter what I do. They’ve been going for 6 weeks and I know even if they survive until harvest it won’t be much, but right now I don’t feel so confident they will survive that long. all three were watered and fed today, they felt light. No ones perked up, not even a little. They’ve had about 10-12 hours to look happier , they usually perk up after a good feeding but ... maybe this is it for them

I’m supposed to be starting these new seeds and I don’t even want to, obviously something is very wrong here .. I can’t start more seeds until I find something new to do, I’m not touching fox farm soils again after this I have no idea if they’re to blame but it seems their reputation has fallen quite a bit and I’m not gonna wait around to find out

You can turn it around. What are you feeding?
