Live Stoner Chat What Are Your Plant Pots Sitting On ???

Thanks everyone for the feedback :)
I fancy those RTA stands but I dont fancy pipe work everywhere connecting them up.
Im clumsy you see!

For now Im going to try some of the 35cm saucers. You get nearly 2l of run off in them, so for me thats plenty.

Im off to the cafe now or for you lovely Americans the dinner :)
Im going to eat a lot of bacon & eggs & mushrooms & toast & beans & toast and lots more toast..
I like toast....

yo dude, nahhh you don't have to connect them all up, jut use a bit of rubber tubing to catch all the run off.

I don't use the rest of the teccy stuff as I feed my ladies by hand

and same. Wakey Wakey, Egg n Bacey. lol no café tho, im the chef today

Thanks for the heads up
I might try these then... When I first started up I was going to buy an RTA system from ProGrow.
Ive got a false floor in my grow room, I built this so I could insulate underneath but I could easily enough adjust the floor so its on a slight slight fall.
That was my plan when I first started building, then in the end I went with airpots and long trays.
Cheers LED Borg..

My Nirvana Northern Light is growing in a 3 gallon SmartPot, Coco Loco Soil. She is sitting on a one inch thick garden grate. The grate is resting on a clay container saucer. Air circulation is very good using this method.

Hey True, For me saucers I found 32cm ones at a local Garden shop for less than 2 quids it fits just about right. Just for the ease of being able to move them around as I wish.
Weirdly as opposed to you ;) if my grow room was square i would actually get a big drip tray that takes up the entire grow room floor on a slight angle going towards the door.
I guess it all down to how big the room is! The biggest out are something like 120cmx120cm. , http://www.britcropshydroponics.co.uk/Grow-Systems/Pots-Trays/1.2m-Flexi-Tray-Deep.html but you can probably find bigger if you look at chemical spill tray but it gets pricey.
My "My 2 cents"

Oh yea I see, very tidy set up - thanks :)

Keeping an uncluttered grow area is a sure way of eliminating any bug problems. I vacuum the grow box on a regular basis to keep any dust or bugs out of the area. Then again it's just one plant and I got the time to keep up on her.

Air circulation is very important to the roots. The SmartPot raised off the ground keeps the air moving and dries the soil evenly.
