Scrappy-- that looking like Mg defc.,... very common! Get going on a dedicated Ca-Mg product, or at least the epsoms (MgSO4)... of more concern to me is that soil pH, as Krug said! --Too acidic,... water is 8.6 out of the tap? ...sounds very hard, do you have a TDS meter, or EC?... there's no need to drop it to 6.4, that's part of the problem,... the other is the acidic soil Fux farms is crapping out these days,.. we're finding bags in the low 5's pH!

... so, don't adjust the water at all, for now,... the lime is too slow acting to be of immediate help,... How much did you add?? 13 spoons, to the surface? --T, tsp, ..? --that's far too much, in any case,... don't panic, it won't be harmful right away, but I'd remove most of it if possible,...What kind of lime was it, specifically? .... how are you testing pH, with a meter? double check your calibration, and see if the bulb thingy is mucked up with hazy residues, as this can mess with accuracy,... then follow this guide for testing run-off (assuming that's what you doing),...

...Nammy's right about the color stripe,.. so common in healthy plants, I find it's not very helpful in diagnostics, really,... might want to up your feed dosage too,... what are the NPK #'s?
