Live Stoner Chat What is your favorite beer?

Oh yeah dude I've had the Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale; that will warm you up quick! Have you ever had their Bigfoot Ale? It's a barley wine; holy moses. I get two bottles of those and that's pretty much it for the night haha! I love their Pale Ale and their Torpedo Extra IPA? Drool worthy!

I'm going to try to get some pictures of this Scotch Ale; you can see little golden flitters of pollen and other particulates from the honey floating in it; it's a thick dark beer; I think you'd appreciate it. I've also got a pumpkin spice ale on tap called Smashing Pumpkin; that's been a crowd favorite around here. I home brewed up a really hoppy wheat beer that I dubbed "Hoptimus Prime," but has some weird off flavors that I think need to work themselves out with time.

Good stuff; loving this thread already lol! :bong:

:smoke:Spaten is a real good German beer, also Haufbrau or most any German or Belgiun beer cant be beat.Like Muddy says Light beers don't cut it for me and believe it or not Bud light is the best selling beer in the US,what a shame.Never had Big Foot but I tried Torpedo more than once and it also is very good.Oh, Im full blooded German so I think beer loving is in my genes.

Muddy, do you like hops at all? New Belgium (the guys that make Fat Tire,) make a hoppy golden ale called Hoptober; it's a fall seasonal (around 6% ABV.) INCREDIBLY tasty.

Yes, I enjoy the taste of hops. I'm not keen if it's too malty. I've never seen that around here but that's no surprise. Living where I do, most of the good ole boys drink cheap, Busch Lite seems to be their favorite. So often there isn't much of a selection unless I go to the big city.

I'm half German, so it must be in my genes as well! I couldn't agree more on the Bud Lite. People just don't know what they are missing. Hocker Phsoor is another good German beer I enjoy. They also make a wonderful Oktoberfest.

Love the IPA's, and most stouts.
I'm really hooked on a beer from 10 Barrels right now, called Sinister Black. How they get a stout to taste sooooo good with a lot of hops I'll never know, but what a genius brew!
Special mention to Kona Brewing for their Pipeline Porter. :tiphat: Avery smooth porter with a nice coffee kick!

I like a few beers on the weekend but I don't drink a lot maybe 4 beers a week.
I like Michelob but its hard to get, so my beer of choice is usually red stripe but if I cant get that then I go for

Right now its Myrcenary by Odell brewing. Its an amazing imperial IPA. But for beers I can find all over the place, Stone IPA. I could go on and on about IPA's. If I had my choice it would be my wifes brew, with citra and cascade hops, and crystal malt ( I don't like malty beers, just bitter and floral.)Hop digity

If ya'll like New Belgium then they have an imperial IPA that is called Rampant. I highly recommend giving it a go to any hopheads out there.

ive been called a yuppie for it but i love an ice cold Rolling Rock, especially on a hot day in the summer time. :peace:

Oh yea, Hey it's in a fancy green bottle. I joke it's my favorite import. Some mystery to the label?

Yuppies don't get it in Chicago.
