Mine is to learn a new martial art! I have a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu already and practice in a gym fairly frequently. There is always something to learn about it. I found a highly reputable Krav Maga center where i live and really have taken an interest of getting into it. There are more ways than hitting a gym to stay fit!

That is a Great goal. Something not too Outthere, attainable, set up for success, all you got to do is take them steps.
Would the Hand to Hand combat i learned in the Marine Corps be called any kind of Martial Art? I would like to think I did something cool! Better yet, what is the definition of a Martial Art?

Mine is to get myself a 6kw generator, had two powercuts this year alone. One for 5 days and the other for 3! Not a happy grower and my green things were even less impressed.

I'd like to quit paying taxes.....LOL! My resolution for the new year is to find something that will halt, or at least negate some of the symptoms of, my ladies MS. That's why I'm here, to learn to grow our own, and see what works best for her and myself also.

Interesting! Before my back got ruined, I was into Shaolin Kempo. I had never been motivated to go to a gym, etc. Martial arts was the best thing for me! it kept me motivated because as you said, there is always something new to learn. I'm looking to find someone who teaches Tai Chi, to complement my walking as exercise.

My resolution is the same every year. Don't get caught. Its no fun in the big house.
Much better warm n cosy seeing the new year in with family.
