Hi everyone! I am new to growing autos and I have realized that I have made a mistake...maybe. Anyways I am currently growing 2 purple haze autos and I planted them directly into foxfarm ocean forest soil before realizing that most of the time this soil is too hot for auto seedlings. They are 3 days old and still look fine but I don't know when they will start showing signs. Any tips or advice on what to do from here would be greatly appreciated.

Get a soil ph meter and get details like soil temp and ph. Some details of grow area like outdoor or indoor will help, after this we start thinking...

It can depend on the strain being grown and the particular bag of FFOF from what I've read on if it will be a problem. I'm getting ready to harvest a plant that I'm very happy with the results of in FFOF soil with right now, and I know I've read at least a couple others that have successfully grow with it as well. Don't panic until there's reason to, but keep a close eye on them as they start to grow and don't be in too big a hurry to go to full strength feeding as there can be a few weeks worth in the soil out of the bag.

The soil ph was between 6.5 and 7 and it's an indoor cfl grow (around 250 total watts)in a 32X32X60 tent. I have a thermometer on top of the soil rite beside the plant and it ranges 75-84°f. I haven't noticed anything yet but I'm really hoping to get around 20g per plant. They are in 3 gal pots.

Not much you can do now except hold back on any nutes for awhile until they get bigger.

Dont do anything, just wait .... Patience young Medme,

Try posting some pictures if you can. But then again the strain has alot to do with everything.

Top pic is 4 days from popping out of soil and bottom pic is day 5.

They look fine, what type of feeding are you planing on giving this babys?

Foxfarm grow big and tiger bloom. Starting 1/4 strength around week 4 or 5.

I think you'll be fine!! Keep updating to see how well they go in that ffof. The soil ph meter measures temps in soil too, keep an eye on that but the majority of time this devices are not exact...
