I've only bought weed once in the last 5 years. It was a depressing 4 hour round trip of woe for the most incredibly small amount of still wet "blue-cheese" Ho-ho-ho-haaaaahhhh. I liked the creativity involved in naming the scrappy looking strain i was given in a scrappy acid simley face bag loooool

The smiley face wasn't bringing back happy rave memories - it wasn't even smiling with me ... as there was nothing to smile about ... so therefor it was smiling at me .... perhaps even laughing

If my smiling acid faced scuffed and pre-used bag could speak it would mutter only one word ...... "mug" .... *smile*

The first couple of years that I started using Cannabis again (5 years ago). I was buying from the MMJ dispensaries.$300 per oz. Then I was buying from a friend of a friend who had been growing JH exclusively for 15 years. $180 for an oz+.

I had a bountiful year growing last year, thus I would never have to grow again. But as we know growing in itself is SO addictive, so keep growing we will!

150 an oz is an acceptable price. That's what I charge my patient. Doesn't matter what strain. She was gracious enough to sign with me now I can grow and not have to look over my shoulder all the time.

Any weed that comes in a tiny baggie with pictures on - dollar signs, weed leaves,record players etc are the bags of a rip off weed dealer.
I know a guy who insists on going to the pub to score and gets a tiny bag for £20, he says it's coz he doesn't want to smoke to much, which is funny coz he obviously wants to pay too much.
He doesn't even know the weight he is buying, just that it is a £20 pound deal.
I don't want to tell him I grow but have encouraged him to do so, even if it is just a stealthy dwarf plant outdoors, but he doesn't want to be bothered, so I let him get on with it, it's his choice and his money he is wasting.
I always offer him a vape but he refuses, coz it doesn't have tobacco in it, you just can't help some people.
I just smile to myself and think, "if only you knew the pleasure of growing your own and how much money you would save".
People are strange and there are many who just can't be arsed to grow their own and one of the reasons we have dealers with rip off prices, coz there is always a mug who will make them a tidy profit on a weekly basis.

local dispensary. I gotta say that some of that $79-$99 an ounce stuff is over 20% and looks pretty good.

I showed my boys how they where getting ripped off before we started to grow our own , now they would go and buy a bag which was to be 1 oz for $300 ,then we put it on the scales and look at that this bag is 4 grams short , so said oz true cost was $342.88 .Was this a one off -- nooo -- they where all doing it , from 2 gram to 6 gram under . On some bags if you took the extra stem and leaf weight into account you could add an extra 2 gram waste . I on the other hand before we where growing have always been able to get it for free as I know some of the old time growers which up my way are a dying breed .

I pay $100 for 3/8 OZ that is the best price around here for some good quality, other then that its $40 to $50 an 1/8 form anybody else with varying quality. This fall I hope to harvest enough to get me through the winter and spring.
