New Grower Whats Up With This Plant?

Thanks for all the help guys the two infected plants are back outside hopefully the other indoor plants will be ok.

wonder were it picked it up outside? or from the seed itself?

....AK- That looks highly suspect,... I can't think of any nute' issue or pH issue that creates that kind of discoloraton pattern, save a virus,... but I'm not positive,... From my experience with orchids and ornamentals, this has the look, I'm afraid... I want to show this to some Guru-level folks, okay? ..may be a little while, but it's imperative that it be diagnosed, one way or the other, for virus,... which is brutally contagious... if it is, you'll have a serious decon' mission to execute! meantime, hang tight, and keep it away from everything, and share no tools, or anything else that has touched it with other plants....

I appreciate the effort Waira.

The two suspect plants are back outside and already doing clean up with Clorox wipes they were just in the tent for 5 or six days no tools were shared so I hope no others are infected.

I have three others left in the tent 16 days old" fast and vast" the two infected were Northern lights.

I read in the DP blog I posted that it was a "common EU disease"? for the record I am In Alaska I wonder if its possible I got infected seeds?

Broad Mites?
Just throwing it out there.
:BINGO: you got the Borg or so it looks! The nastiest of all cannabis troubles (well id say maybe white powder mold is bad!)
if it is the new dreaded broad mite they are tricky bastards and SCARY SCARY to potentially have... I'm still in battle with keeping things under control from some type of mite attacks my old gals went through (which btw were not salvageable and were dumped) if you look up
my high rise thread you'll see my mob looked exactly the same... Sometime later in another tent that didn't have a good air flow as the the tent the mob was is I found the dreaded tell take signs of my problem (my buds had webbing all over them!) I am just now having a couple plants this past run that have shown zero issues..: as a preventive from here on out ,
besides the REALLY REALLY good cleaning you will need to do your grow room (still working on mine :( ) and I personally would just dump everything and if you have anything else that's going currently and showing no similar issues as a preventive if still in veg I'd get some forbid (highly toxic and would
NEVER USE on a plant that is flowering...) it will give the plants protection for up to three weeks or more (I was spraying for a while there each plant before I threw them into the 12/12 tent) have seen no pest damage this go around so hopefully I have things under control but I KNOW they are still
lurking looking for oppurtinistic weak plants to rear their ugly heads again... Also azamax is a good preventive. I also utilize Nuke Em, and sm-90 it's best to alternate your battle tools each time other wise the slick bastards will get immune to whatever it is using.., a multi product approach is the only way... Some organic choices are sprays with peppermint oil, canyene pepper and other things I can't think of off the top of my head. I also would toss any medium you have left...
Dont think the problems once they've begun will truly ever go away but VERY possible to keep at bay... Praying and sending :karma Cloud: your way that you get this figured out...
@tavidude :slap: very good call!

Man that sounds like some bad shit! I googled broad mites and looks close but not 100% that's it I will get a better look with a magnifying glass and see if I can see the little bastards.

Thanks

WOW! That kind of looks like it could be it.

I wonder if its contagious do you think I should kill it now? or watch it for awhile its I with my others now and hate to put it back outside.
Cannabis virus spreads fast, I would kill it and get it as far always as possible from your garden. The problem is that its outside so it will be really hard to tell where the virus came from. And make sure you check all your plants in your garden your not supposed to touch a healthy plant after a sick one. If you do could find out later that it spread. Hope this help and you get it all figured out let us know if you need more help. Its 4am here I'm about to crash back onto bed I will give u a link to a non harmful product that will help rid them of any viruses.

Yeah, they're REALLY small.
As far as virus's, i think it's pretty unlikely.
They're pretty rare.
Everyone thought Broad Mites were a virus at first because no one could see them.
I think Virus gets blamed mostly when the real problem can't be found.
Virus in cannabis is not really common.

Not saying it isn't a virus, or that it's definitely broad mites but that looks like broad mite damage than anything else.

Peace.

....did some poking around AK,... doesn't look good,... IMO, this is not mites of any type,... I don't see any of the other tell-tale physical damage and symptoms for mites on the leaves, and at this equivalent level of chlorosis the leaves would be covered in them--...they are minute, but not invisible! This pattern of yellowing doesn't fit either,.... Let's see what Muddy thinks,...I asked him to have a look too,...

Hey guys hope you don't mind me jumping in here but I have a similar issue with one of my plants. The others all look fine, here's a quick pic

I dug up pics of my plants that indeed were mite infestations and here is what they looked like, at first I thought a nute def or tobacco virus but than I finally saw the fuckers

Not saying that's what you got but that's what my plants looked like and that's what it was , mites of some sorts.
