What's wrong here?

If you truly wanna make it easy in soil get a non premixed soil so u can control what yur plant is offered...something like 40%organic potting soil(lowest npk u can find),50%perlite,10%shagnum moss.i even use my clay pellets from dwc.then you will kno whats in yur soil.i still use my synthetics..f,w,w.....rule to live by

Just like waira said it will uptake "n" more cause the range..taking too much of anything makes ph go sketchy....hince you dont know yur soil.no offense blazer..i understand they market it as "ready to grow" right out of bag.those people r n buisness for soil in nutes not to c u get best plants ever...cause now whether u need this or that they sell those items also...

I wouldnt flush yet either like waira said.see if you can control your ph.if its high (which im guessing)try dropping to minimal ph range cause more then likely will rise again cause of soil.when you have yur nutes correct you wont fluctuate as quick.you want it to go threw its range(like waira said, cause plant recieves differnt nutes at differnt ph's)but it should not climb quick or yur def not dialed in.this is y i described the other soil option.get some nutes in bump up numbers slow(200ppm each water)and c where yur ph range is barely climbing.climbs quick drop back off yur ppm

... don't break his balls about soil knowledge when it's clear you don't have a handle on the differences in FF soils either,... HF is much more mild than OF, kkennif, which is why OF is the bottom layer here; the plant is tapping into it heavily now, hence the symptoms; OF as often as not burns/stunts seedlings because of the heavy amending, and these days, being undercooked, which makes it very acidic; what lime is in there can't handle it fast enough... HF is not the cause of this issue or it would have shown way sooner,... and feeding is continuous (granted enough moisture), not contingent on watering BTW,...
That soil recipe you suggested with 50% perlite is simply wrong, none of the soil guru's here would say it is, sorry,... new growers get in more trouble trying to be cute with custom mixes than keeping it simple and using premium quality soils.. FF used to be one, but not so much anymore,..unfortunately this isn't obvious to new growers,...

... Blaz', unless your mate has an Accurate 8 pH probe, or a professional unit, don't bother with the cheapie skinny probes you see at garden centers, etc.,.. terrible accuracy! And no worries about flushing, barring worsening symptoms,... better first to see if she works through it, even if you get a set or two of funky leaves,.. but the issue with N tox also carries over to pH, the specific source of the N, and what the roots are putting out as they take it in... The plant has to maintain both pH and charge balance, so generally, when it takes in a cation, a H+ goes out; anion, an OH- goes out... if the N source is positive charged, namely ammonium NH4+, it will acidify the soil... NO3- , nitrate, will make it more basic,... Fuxfarms uses ammonia to "pseudo-age" the redwood compost they use, so if the soil isn't cooked long enough you get shit acidic pH even with lime in there! This is why I want you to test for pH, but fortunately, the plant looks free of other symptoms indicating badly off pH,... we'll see!

..okay, gotta deal with this too...

when you have yur nutes correct you wont fluctuate as quick.
..no, it's adjusting the pH of the nute solution first that helps prevent larger swings in soil pH, but only helps, it's not a panacea for keeping it in range, there are too many other influencing factors affecting pH once in-pot,...
..easing into nutes is right, but since the soil isn't NPK balanced properly, especially for bloom, nutes will have to be added, and backing off ppm's just to manage pH will not be wise during this stage,...

We can agree to disagree then brother.we all want him to do good so ill back off.im no noob tho i hav 12+ yrs experience.and grow on a huge commercial level.i cant show pics of what i really do or u wud kno im very educated.over or under nutes will 100% affect ph....wen yur dialed in you will stay in range for roughly a wk.then u pull it back down to do it again.

This my shop.40'×20'....and i have 32 acres i grow outside.not as good as skell but close...

And with everywater he 100% feeding....thats 2nd yr growing stuff.the plant dont eat the little balls of nutes that come in a bag.its broke down by water, via gets wickd up by roots...my plants r bigger n veg then your guys finish at...i pull almost 2 lbs a plant.not 2 ounces...ill back of tho.silly to me arguing with someone and i make 7-9k a month from doing exactly what i said

U make what 2oz's a plant and think thats something?i got that round 4th wk of flowering
