New Grower When do people start counting the days of life??

Hey guys.

Noob question......

When do people start counting the days alive?

Is it from germinating, potting or sprouting? Or is it just one of those things everyone does different!?

I start counting the day they emerge above ground, and then again when I flip the lights when running photo plants.

I think it is by choice or really you can count them from pop or count them once they get the first razor leafs. I personally go from the day they break soil.

Cheers guys. It makes sense to me doing it from breaking ground so I will go with that.

Day 1 they are up in soil for my veg state. Around day 30 or just a tad bit shorter for flower or when I see them forming pretty good. In OF soil I can go 3 weeks until using lite nutes, after that continue working them up as mentioned in Tangs schedule. I do amend my soil with extra worm castings and pearlite.
