Hey guys, how long do you think this lady has left? It's a white widow by dinafem and at what I'm deciding to call day 88. Buds up top look nice, but down below on the stalk I'm not all that impressed...Not sure if they'll fatten up in a week or so? What do you guys think?

Buds are very orangey with lots of hairs, but downstairs they're still looking white on top the smaller buds, which don't seem to be growing so fast (likely since the canopy of fan leaves covering them..)

Anyone familiar with this strain? It was grown in a 5 gallon pot of organic soil and perlite with mostly water and very little nutrient since my water sucks and I keep burning the plants I grow. All this happened beneath a 240w no-name blackstar ripoff LED.

Sorry the pics suck! I did what I could with my trusty blackberry and laptop cam lol

Take what is ready (cloudy/ambered trichs) and leave what is not until it is ready.

Thanks for the reply, Tx,

That sounds like a good idea. I guess I thought that would stress the plant, but can I just cut the whole top off, leave a few fan leaves and the lower buds, then get my lights in nice and close? Or would it just die on me?

Thanks man!

You did a real good job w/ that plant ... I'd put her on straight water (RO if you can get it cheap) and do just like OldTX Dude suggests ... taking buds over several days/weeks allows you to perfect your curing technique ... congratulations !!

I usually harvest a plant in 2 -3 stages ... :Sharing One:

YVW Bro! Well, there used to be a guy by the name of Dewey Compton back in the day and he was the Master Grower of the time. He would say that when a fruit tree wouldn't bear, to take a quilt and wrap it around the trunk then take a pipe or baseball bat and beat the shit out of it (on the quilt). This induced stress and made the plant freak and then POP! ...fruit!

Stress is a good thing when used in moderation to induce or push flowering. Inducing stress can promote reproduction when done properly.

Just don't use a bat on your girl, a pencil maybe.....

And here's the aftermath!...

Pretty much if I saw white trichs on a bud I just left it, and then worked largest to smallest on what to cut.

Thanks for the help guys!

Twas a sticky situation....Lots of sticky sugar leaves for some butter in the not-so-distant future!

Thanks for stoppin' in Red!

These bitches are rugged, aren't they? I'm done being gentle! I'm gettin' in theree!!! I like the partial harvest idea...I'll see how it looks in a week and take the top nugs again, then move lights down and rinse and repeat.

Was glad to hear that I can chop some off! I'm tired of buyin' off the guy in the basement!!!
