ziplocks dont fold and arent as portable and form fitting either LOL!! the ounce dont lay in there right imho well for my ounces I stuff it full n try to fold the top over buuut lol

Yep--zip lock bag = ounce. Prior to such just a baggie then came the zip lock bags. Early days no zip on baggies. Now, the term lid. Most cannabis historians view it from if recall late 50's early 60's indicating the top of a coffee can lid; then became associated with an ounce as 60's rolled along.
