New Grower Where's the Frost ?

I have a healthy auto Jock Horror that is budding very nicely in it's 10th week ... Trouble is there is no frost ... Jock Horror should be covered in Trichomes but it's not ... My past grows w/ these LEDs (220 actual watts) have all been frosty ...

What would keep a plant from frosting ... ?

Chester, you got a grow journal for your Jock Horror? Who is the breeder? I got a freebie I grew out once but it grew really weird; the plant smelled like pepper and spices (not weed.) Then it stunted. Doh. Would love to try it out again though; any time I grew a plant that's a real dud, it just makes want to grow another one to see what I did wrong and make it better for the next time.

What kind lights you growing under? Growing medium? Nutrients? Feeding schedule? What are your temperatures and humidity in there? Have you had any accidental fluctuations in heat? Any light burn?

Do you have access to a magnifying glass or jewelers loupe? Can you see any trich production on the leaves/calyxes?

"SOH" ... Your photo does make me feel better since my buds are bigger and tighter and just as Frost Free ... Generally at this point my plants look more like a sugar factory .... The only thing I changed is the fertilizer .... I'm using Flower Tabs for this grow, but I've been supplementing w/ Kool Bloom ... ph is 6.4 in a 3 gal airpot ... I don't have a journal w/ this grow because I've been unable to post pics since the first of the year.

Looks like I found the frost ... ^^^ ... I switched to supplementing w/ Farmer's Pride Bloom ... the difference in frost was almost immediate though they are still no where near as frosty as they should be ... I noticed w/ my recent photo grow that the Flower tabs caused them to frost heavily early and then the frost went away ... it could have been because I used them other than directed by breaking them into quarters rather than inserting as one piece and I did almost no supplementing during bloom for that grow ... The auto Jock above has entered the cleanse phase and will get only water till harvest in about 2 weeks ...

She came down last week and has dried to the point of jarring ... The one plant provided about 2.5 1/2 gal jugs of bud ... my biggest single plant to date. What little I've Vaped has not been anything special but it's only been dried a couple days. The buds are hard and dense probably because of using plenty of LED light. The air pot held an impressive root structure but it required about one more watering a week as it dried quicker than the same sized standard pot ... Using Nirvana Soil Tabs for nutes during veg worked great ... wasn't as impressed w/ the Flower Tabs and will be limiting my use of them ... looking forward to growing this one again although the extra time can be an issue.

One interesting note was that several weeks before harvest the very tip of one bud formed a white 'ball' about half the size of a pea ... the white ball is made up entirely of Trichomes ... I saw it one other time using Flower Tabs so they may be the cause ... looking forward to Vaping that ball ... it's not mold or anything like that ... it looks like a touch of snow on top of the bud ...

you sure bout them tabs,they have to be time release no?i would like to see results of tabs
