When I started I mixed all sorts of shit .....found a Fe really sick .....I usedPLAIN coco and these 2 BIOMAX SHRIMP AND BIOMAX SEAWEED COMPIST ....its pretty neutral at 7.0 so u need to add I. Sulphur to buff it down.....now I have tasted several buds from 4 different diets ....this recipe has my vote it was clean simple and I fed mutes in .....she had the best taste even over ROOTS ORGANIC ...
THIS BUD was the best I had and can't wait to smoke after a good month cure ....its gonna be extremely hard to not smoke it .....so fruit forward likecandy and the smell is ridiculous like fresh berries .........the soils cost 10 bucks for 40 lbs sfor around 30 bucks and fed with all the good nutes I used roots line. Up and SEAGROW humic acid and water .....

I'm going a second. Run in this and I have even made compost from sub cool lever and joe dirt so .....the next grow will have a few new nite additions ....

Overall I didn't have much but the smoke was amazing really satisfied with the taste!!!

use roots organic straight out of the bag and works great alone!

using roots 707 rite now at 2 weeks and seem to be doing fine, anybody ever use age old bloom or age old grow on their autos

I think the target here most of us KISS growers are looking for is high Q soil as is, or better still a mix of different brands. Last year, outdoor, photo plants, I used FFOF mixed with Edna's best, and had fine results even with modest supplements (BTW, no soilbug issues either). After reading posts here, it still sounds like a good plan; it will just depend on which soil/combo's of to use. I'm hearing that FFOF can be hot for several weeks (for autos at least), same for Vermifire soil. Maybe cooling these down with lighter soils, like light warrior, roots organic light or Muddy-san's favorite Promix will strike a nice balance for initial planting and up the nute's application later. All this can be dialed more or less aggressively depending if you're flogging the plant for max yield, or taking a more conservative approach (like me) and angling more for potentcy and aromatics. For my first auto grow, I'm mulling over mixing (hot) FFOF or vermifire with Roots organic light or promix, maybe light warrior...(Is it me, or does Subcools soil recipe sound fierce hot for autos,....15lbs of conc. additives + lots of worm castings??). Hmmmmmm.... Anybody else take this approach?

I had 4 autos in vermifire that are top dressed with promix to start the seeds. I experienced some serious nutriet burn about 3 weeks in. Just transplanted into ffof 40percent/ promix 60percent. Do you think it will help?
