Ok so it's decided, today I dropped 2 white cracks in root riots. both will be potted in my soil mix in 40l pots.

One I will feed with my regular schedule of the growth technology line up and the other just water and whatever nutrients they may get from the biotabs.

I swapped my old magnetic ballast out with a lumi digital ballast and will run at 20/4 or full 24/7 as opposed to my usual 18/6 to help with some cold issues. I will have settings switched to 400w through veg and whack it up to 600w during flower

All are welcome, the more themerrier !!!:welcome:

@Dudeski @mephisto @Nicker32 @Roasty McToasty @Eyeoftheworld @Coffee&Kush @Waira @nizmoKush @jingo and everyone else !!!

Remember you need to run a 400watt bulb for 400 watt settings and 600 for the 600 settings. You cant run a 600 watt bulb at 400 watts and expect good results you lose way more light like that.

Its interesting you say that as I was told otherwise can anyone else chime in.

I was told the difference would be insignificant

Ive always been told the 250 400 600 settings are a gimmick and if you have a 600 watt light why would you run it at 250? Doesn't make sense unless it were to be a 3 way light like a house hold bulb. Mh hps have to build gases to work correctly and under powering a light can be dangerous and costly you ruin the bulbs life also when using a lower wattage than recommend.
