Mephisto Genetics White crack.. biotabs vs regular feeds

Do you have a way to pump warm air in from another room? You have a speed controller on your exhaust fan? I have a little heater for my sons room, it has a timer and temp controls to turn itself on/off. It works really well and doesn't jack my bill up high.

I have no way of pumping hot air in but i think if i could insulate the tent id be on to a winner. Iv considered a electric heater on a thermostat but am concerned with safety as well as energy consumption. Im worried the humidity + electrically heated elements may = trouble.

Been running my sons forever, it works really well to heat up his whole room. Not expensive to run. But I understand your concerns. Insulating will def help, but not sure how much.

Well i finally gave in and went for the easy option and just ordered a oil filled heater controlled by a thermostat and safe to use. The greenhouse heater just wasnt quite cutting it. As the heater is 800w i just got to hope it isnt constantly needing to run to maintain the temps !!!

The 2 white cracks are looking great but not really packing on much weight, bring on the heat i say !!! :smoking:

Ok so added yet another heater to the tent today and temperatures are still not optimum but will now not fall below 16 °C and can be as high as 20 °C.

I will get some pic updates tomorrow. Although the girl with tabs is weeks ahead in development and super healthy on nothing but water, regular feed girl is now overtaking her in size, as mentioned before this is just one of a few more tests to come.

So just checked on the girls to see how theyre settling in with the extra heater and they seem to be recieving the extra warmth well. Temps in there were just over 17°c but we cant grumble as it has been far worse.

Day 53

Things are really moving now but As they were stunted so bad they will both be late finishers. At least another 3 weeks on biotabs girl (left) and id say potentially another 5 weeks on righty. Oh and trmps today were holding a steady 19 °c.

@Nabzter
Really like your thread man! Enjoying what I am seeing so far! :)

With Biotabs You are adding life to you soil, and all this soil life is eating each other and shiting each other out, what you than get is the most natural/potent plant feed there is.
So just a tab will do fine.
But you can imagine that after a while eating and shiting in the pot, they could use a little extra feed and adding some extra bacterias to add some more life to the soil.
So what we advise at Biotabs: after 35 days the plant being in the pot, 1 water solution with 25 ML Orgatrex and 1 gram of Bactrex.
The Orgatrex: is a heavy organic liquide made of Molasses(sugar cane) and a mix of different kind of rock dusts. This will feed your soil life directly with sweet sugar. hand feed/mix though water.
The Bactrex: is a fine powder containing high levels of Trichoderma bacterias that help protect your roots agains diseases. and adding extra bacterias to you soil life. to provide more plant feed to the soil. hand feed/mix though the water.

Other importaint thing when working with micro-organismes and beneficial bacteria, is that your soil temp should be above 18C.
Much of the micro-oragnismes an bacterias are inactive when the soil is below that.

Like the LED light aswel!:)

Keep on growing!
