Mephisto Genetics White crack.. biotabs vs regular feeds

Hey dude this should be good.
I can attest tabs only work nicely indeed for us.
Yield/growth/flavour/effort comparisons will be nice to see.

We do the same running a 600w bulb at 50-75% power for the first 10-15 days at 24/0 after that we switch up to full and temps permitting put plants on 20/4 around days 25-30

Cheers and good luck!

Hey Mitch @mephisto , thanks for reconfirming that. I am looking forward to see how this unfolds and the possibility of lower maintenance grows using the tabs. even if the yield is sacraficed slightly it maybe a worthwhile compromise. These tabs could provide endless possibilities especially if using a drip feed/ self watering system, it could mean only visiting the ladies as little as once a week.

Ive always been told the 250 400 600 settings are a gimmick and if you have a 600 watt light why would you run it at 250? Doesn't make sense unless it were to be a 3 way light like a house hold bulb. Mh hps have to build gases to work correctly and under powering a light can be dangerous and costly you ruin the bulbs life also when using a lower wattage than recommend.

The multi power setting on digital ballasts is not a gimick but and advance in technology. people would run higher rated bulbs at lower wattages for a number of reasons, heat issue's, to keep everything costs down or even to save the effort of having to switch over the bulbs everytime. don't get me wrong I am not knocking your input but I have spoken to many good growers who simply leave the same bulb in when running at lower wattages as they say the negatives are insignificant.

Also I have actually ordered a 400w bulb now as I don't really want to take any chances and want to prolong the life of my bulbs.

Yeahi guess there is some benefits but if im paying 65 bucks for a hps im gonna use it the way it was meant to be used. I've used my 400 watt setting but honestly it didnt help with my heat issues at all like 2 degrees. Technology is ridiculous too many new brands and China made garbage to trust.

Very True however my heat issue is the other end of the spectrum where I am dealing with lack of as opposed to too much especially when lights are out. with energy bills being so high I had to look at ways of prolonging the light period without increasing the bills if that makes sense. :pass:

Sorry for the misinformation it's actually 30l knockoff fabric pots that I will use.

No worries bro, I like how you maximize your potential with larger mediums. I think I may make some bigger Hempy's to do the same thing. My problem is space right now, and i have waaaay to many beans. Trying the more plants technique for a while.

It does absolutely. Shit go led with crees and clus best bang for your buck and can run half the wattage and get bigger and better yeilds. And be more efficient. Im saving for some timber grow lights. They got everything you need.

Would you recommend the 20/4 cycle over the 24/0 and 18/6?
