White spotting -- two weeks old -- light burn?

Also, here's where my buds are at right now around day 79/80 -- would I be OK to simply harvest without bothering with neem oil for the moment? I'll get some for the next grow, but would simply cutting out all the leaves fix me up for the time being?

Thanks again guys!

To answer your question honestly about cutting the leaves out, I don't know. I don't think it will help but I don't know either. Harvesting them won't hurt, of course, if that is what you choose to do but neem oil won't bother them a bit either at this stage. It is a natural oil from a tree, nothing toxic at all. That was why I recommended it. Now, knowing that you have a mature plant in there and you aren't seeing any netting at all then I am inclined to believe it isn't mites as well but it definitely looks to be some type of insect or aphid. If it were me, I would go ahead and keep growing the larger one out and harvest if anything gets real bad, otherwise just harvest when you normally would. With the smaller one I will definitely try to get it under control before you loose her. Then, after everything is done, clean the hell out of that tent/room. Top to bottom, nooks and crannys.

Also, those pics of the leaves are bad out of focus, makes it nearly impossible to see anything for sure. I don't think it is nutrient splash from the amount and size of the spots though.

Thanks A4,

I apologize for the out-of-focus shots; my Blackberry is shit for pictures... The bud shots are from my girlfriend's phone -- much better.
Well, I panicked after reading more and more online, and also remembered some of the nastier leaves I have thrown out earlier on in the grow from that mature plant (some leathery/crispier feeling leaves -- looking like some online that I saw were resultant of parasite infestations). I wish I had been more vigilant earlier on. I'm still a newb to this stuff, and have only done a few grows. I'm learning a lot more each time though; it's turning into a remarkable hobby.

I panicked, and being the impulsive kid that I am, I chopped'er down, trimmed up all the leaves, disposed of them, the soil, left the pot outside (I'll clean it out later), and hung up my buds. They look nice, and I still didn't see any signs of any critters (also no black/orange/yellow spots on the bottoms of the fan leaves). I'm sure I overreacted, but as I said, I'm still learning. I think I ended up with a pretty decent take, especially since I don't think this strain was advertised as being that big of a yielder...but I've learned some things for next time. I'm sure I had something in there that was running amok...this weekend I'll be buying some Neem oil, will be sure to fix up that little plant (and now she'll get a whole LED panel to herself, the lucky thing)...so hopefully it's recoverable. I'm going to scrub out that space, as you suggested, and make sure I get on top of this stuff better next time.

Does growing in water/bubbleponic systems have an effect on what sort of critters you've got to worry about? I'd assume most of these guys are born out of the soil mix, no? So if one is growing in a DWC is it less likely that you'd be dealing with gnats/aphids/mites/etc? I've been yearning to try a DWC, especially since I've gotten a few Think Different seeds (and have seen some fantastic things on this site with that combination), but I KNOW that I'll need to be much more watchful with that endeavor...

Thanks again for your expertise. I'll hit you guys up with some rep once I get on the computer!

I'm not gonna lie A4 maybe right hes a very experience guy

But they look like thrips damage

Good way to tell difference is spider mites leave alot of spider shit on the leafs - thrips dont

check for a type of residue/dust something on the leaf surface

i think neem oil pretty much kills anything tho - but it is good to know what your treating

and you havent got enough for them to kill your harvest i would keep going and treat with neem oil

then completely sterilize your room and everything in connection

Thrips! I had a look at some damaged leafs online and that pretty much looks like my leaves.... http://www.uk420.com/boards/uploads/post-5539-1097329221.jpg

It's evident that I'm GREEN....Now hopefully I can keep my leaves that way next time around....geeesh.... I've seen this spotting scattered on my leaves and just thought "ahh hell, my plant's growing and budding....maybe I just bought a really penetrative light ;) lol...." But yeah I think it could be those bastards....judging by pics....

Are they also semi-microscopic larvae? Again, I haven't seen any crawlies! I'm gonna disinfect everything ASAP....

Get A4 to send you some of his ladybirds lol
