i was gonna use the 2700k for flowering but i got advised to use both as a dual spectrum as theyre only cfls. ive raised the lights now, is that what caused the leaf curling? thanks

aahh please help, have to leave home for the evening and am really worried. i havnt watered since it sprouted, which was 14 days ago. pot is still quite heavy and growth hasnt stopped, but is it because of dehydration? the soil in the bottom is sort of damp but a lot of the upper levels of soil are very dry. ive been looking on google for what it might be and i think it might be nute burn? ive raised the lights and am crossing my fingers. ph is 6.5, however i only have a cheap liquid testing kit atm, il be getting a ph meter next week. thanks for any help. medium is john innes number 2 with perlite

If the soil is still wet on the bottom after so long you may need better drainage... 14 days sounds like a really long time not to water a seedling, but that taproot will keep going down to get that water I guess. I'm not informed enough about pH balance, but a picture would help people help you. :D

Good luck!

CFLs, with their built in ballasts, give off more heat that people often realize. I think they should be fine now that you've raised the lights up a bit.

your plant looks fine, although i would move the light back to a few inches. during veg i keep 23 watt 6500 about 1-2" above the top leaves as it keeps the inter nodes really tight. i like that!! GL
