That sounds interesting POP. Do you have a book on Cannabis Biology or are you reading it on the net. I would like to take a look at that. I have said to myself if was to adopt a lights out it would be no more than a half hour. That is when i will be growing 4 plants then and see for my self if any difference. The terp production is wild the taste of the auto extreme is beautiful and that was quick dried bud and I am smashed off of it what a creeper
This is really interesting to read, as when I started with auto's I did a LOT of diary reading, and the general consensus was that 24/0 actually hindered development. Only one way to find out I guess.
Part of the problem pop, is cannabis has been so well prohibited that very little peer-reviewed scientific study has been done.
Without peer-review a lot of the "studies" available to most of us should be considered just a little bit better than our own observations, if at all.
I read as much as I can, I will definitely take a look at Spear's book.
I agree completely. However, people tend to ignore general plant biology in favor of believing craziness and myths like feed your lemon haze some Country Time Lemonade mix to enhance the "lemon" flavor...

Not an in depth book but onew that give explaination to things using science. a pretty good book in my opinion. some pepl won't like it because its the first one I've read that shows why things like flushing plants at the end is a waste of time, etc. And thats exactly what he says. No beating arund the bush so to speak...lol!
The book is: Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered by Read Spear
I have a Cheese Candy around day 44 that ive had 24/0 and she stayed very short, just over a foot tall. What ive read is that the dark period helps to promote stretching which in turn lets more light get down into the lower sites, so you could get a bigger plant, not necessarily a bigger yield but sometimes thats the case. Someone probably already mentioned it, just my 2 cents.
I like 24/0 since i have one plant flowering and another vegging right next to each other, it helps that they stay short and the canopy even. I still have to use planks to prop up the smaller one, but at least one plant isnt 30" while the other one is 6".. just makes it easier overall to run.
