Grow Room Will small green light affect photo plant?

Hi guys after my current run of autos I am going to try a fast flowering photo from sweet seeds just wondering will small green light from dehumidifier cause plant to hermie?

It can affect flowering if it's on during the whole dark period. It has happened to me. But I don't think it would hermie it, maybe just delay the flowering.
Why not cover the light bulb with some duct tape or something like that to be on the safe side?

Cover that with electrical tape. A stable strain won't have an issue, but there are a lot of genetics carrying the herm gene. You could have many runs without issue, and then have it happen. Light didn't make it herm, it triggered something that was already there due to poor breeding practices.

When I first started growing it was photoperiod plants. I put masking tape over all device lights.

Don’t think I can tape the stupid thing based on it’s design as you can see it’s inside the top of device

isnt green a safe light to use ? havnt i seen on utube peeps checking in on photos during the dark period,have a green light ?

i read that too! (from jorge cervantes) its suppose to mimic moon light and its perfectly safe for navigating night times without interrupting flowering mode..

also read that autoflowers light leak during flowering shouldnt be a problem like how it is for photo periods.
