This year I don't plan on keeping much of a grow journal...but this thread will serve as a place for occasional updates and bud porn. Also if anybody has questions (or answers) feel free to post away. And if I run into any problems then I will post that frustration here lol. But after a mostly successful grow last season of Think Differents and Bluematics, I've got slightly more ambitious plans this year. And with the experience from last year I expect things to go much smoother as far as wildlife issues. Going to keep it organic (for me it's about quality, not quantity), and going to avoid any ferts with any kind of animal "meal", whether it be bone, blood, feather, or otherwise. I'm all but positive that was what gave me so many problems last year with coyotes digging up some plants. For nutes I'm going to keep things very simple: add some more compost to the soil in the holes and feed with age old fish&weed, some high phos bat guano tea, and maybe some general organic high potash bud boost that is leftover from last season when it gets to that point. I will be dropping these (including the NLxBB autos) this week...maybe tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Alright guys just a little update. The nutes I ordered arrived and I'm pleased to report that all 3 NL X BB autos have germed and are potted up. 9 of 10 W.E.'s have germed and are potted up. I have one left that is being stubborn. All beans endured about a 16 hour soak in a cup of water until they sank to the bottom. Then all were transferred to moist paper towels until the they had cracked open. The stubborn one went back in a glass of water a couple hours ago and I will take it out and check it momentarily. Now just waiting for my gals to break ground so I can get the ball rolling so to speak.

Update: Sure enough the second dunk did the trick and the last W.E. has swollen enough to crack it's shell down one side. All in the last couple hours. So that's 100% germ rate for both Heavyweight and World of seeds...for me anyways. Gonna go bury this little lady in some organic promix, then go wipe down and sterilize the nursery.

Peace,
Shadowbuck
