@Itisi

These little pumps seem to do the job. And I'm hoping the 360° sprayer will work well with the pumps.

High pressure is the way forward witchy. Smaller water droplets, more oxygen, monster growth.

it is isn't it?

I may look for a high pressure pump...

Have a read up on it witchy, a low pressure pump, like yours, creates more of a nft effect rather than a true aeroponics environment. You need a solenoid and an accumulator as well.

I did read about foggers, but then the pumps look like something I'll have a learning curve...I feel intimidated by new things, believe or not. [emoji102]

I saw the solenoid is some sort of valve, right? What's the accumulator?

For now, I'll have a pump pumping water into the basket from the reservoir, as you saw on the pic. I'll also have a pump inside the bucket, using the shallow water that will sit on the bottom, and pumping it through a tube with holes (maybe sprayers) running the inside circumference of the bucket, like the buckets I currently have.

I'll have easy access to the water, and I like the mobility and individuality of it. I'll try to plant fruit trees in these, too. I'll place them outside in the warmer months, using a solar powered pump, then bring inside for the winter.

Looks like a fun project. Must say I'm liking the way my Amazon aeroponics system is working even if the size and shape isn't ideal.

Do you have access to spray heads that look like little lawn sprinklers? I might keep the pump and delivery system and make my own pot to put it in.....only need 1 hole for a net pot where as my current system has 8.

Can't say I have. I just walk around Home Depot and browse for stuff on Amazon.

But I'm really trusting this system will show clear improvements over what I'm currently using. I'll be using it in the Auto White Cheese Competition, will transplant the seedling today, after I finish setting the system up. [emoji106] [emoji16]

They have them on amazon.....search for micro irrigation sprinkler and I found some that said something about pumps that run at 1.5 BAR so I guess that's why aeroponics pumps are a whole load bigger than the ones I use for NFT which presumably just run at 1 BAR.

Digging the bucket and net pot on the box......been trying to find a nice strong bucket like that to put over a NFT table to make a sort of hybrid aero/NFT pot so the roots don't just shoot straight down into the res and the table doesn't need to support a heavy plant.

Must go check out the Auto White Cheese Comp too. Good luck:goodluck:
