I have been turning my solo down from 7 to 5 (410 to 393) im vaping much better now ... and im sure Itsi is right and start at 375



I do both with my solo

The solo, I used to set mine to the max and start hitting it once it had warmed up to about 6. If I timed it right, I'd get the last draw on it just as it hit max temp.

Have you tried the little bubblers you can get for the solo?

I have a cheapo one from china :

Not a perfect fit in connections ... but it cost me 10usd including shipping from china... i also have a 18mm for my normal bong

atm i start at 5 (393°F) ... take a few hits ... move to 6 (401°F) do the same .. then 7 (410°F) for the finish...

but with some nicely cured medicine i can start lower i think ... and get the terps

Personally, I find the following.

If it's a conduction vape (the herb sits in an oven) I get better hits if you let the herb warm before you hit it.

If it a convection vape ( the heater heats the air and that heats the herb) you need to do a slow pull through the vape to 'prime' the herb.

Also , as you use you avb, vaping at a lower temp looses nothing, you pick up anything left in your avb recipe.

Some of the terpines have lower boiling points, I've seen guides that reckon you can dial in a specific effect by vaping at different temps. Low temps during the day to keep the effects uplifting and higher temps when you want to meld into the sofa.

That's great! I had no idea the temperature affected the effect of the herb. The Arizer is convection, and you're totally right, a slow pull is the way to go. @Dr. Babnik, the Viva is conductive. [emoji106] [emoji2] [emoji108]
