So. The shed has my photo strain. It is silver pearl x dj short's flo. Heady spacey smoke. You can usually re-veg a photo after harvest if you leave any green- but flo will just keep flowering under 12/12. You get the first main harvest, and then maybe 2/3 to 3/4 of another, as new buds form and mature.

That, to my mind, would be a useful trait in an auto flowering plant. Chop it, it grows, and reflowers- over and over until the season gets too hostile... To that end, I raised a bunch of these outdoor from may, until it became apparent that they had totally stalled, under frequent rain, interminable overcast, and nighttime temps toward 40 degrees seppo routinely. I then brought in the few "survivors" to the shed, under cfl light- and they continues to ride out some pretty harsh conditions. Hopefully I will have mi5 pollen to add to these hardy heathens.

Stunting, stretch- you name it- but these ones want to put on weight- they got nice figures.

They are a quite responsive lot.

There's not gonna be much in the way of yield- I doubt 14 grams per- but if
I
Get these girls pollinated by a nice mi5 male- it'll have been worth it

New light fixture. Currently running 2 85 watt 5k bulbs and 2 68 watt 27k. Same light as before- new fixture. The chains in the back are to raise and lower, there are two more in the front, and hooks on the light.

Auto lemon haze (fem) from mjseeds-nl showed sex today. Mi5 seedlings are really packing on the branches early compared to the lr2 and the auto ak. They took the ph issue in stride and are moving along nicely. I'm quite impressed with the fortitude and vigorous nature of lr2 right now as well.

The silver flo is doing its thing- as she does. I'll do a proper grow of her in the photo section so as to share what a beauty she can be.

Still finding LR2 to be quite vigorous- though auto ak47, and auto lemon haze have done really well also. One of the two mi5 is doing well- the other continues to struggle- most likely due to the heavy watering, with progressively stepped down ph that I did to help correct that issue. 2-3 days til it's really dry and I'll water again. Sadly it's the only one that hasn't sexed- and I still have no males. This one won't be a viable breeding partner if it's a male- so it'll get chopped if so. Everybody suddenly got quite hungry. Especially the ALH and Auto ak47, so I fed today with happy frog 7-4-5, there first feed. I'm going really really slowly here with ph, feed, everything. I'm not really trying to optimize anything- just establish a baseline for future reference.

Ill put two 2mi5 in a paper towel tonight as well as 2 more LR2. I can't wait to get some more auto seeds. Hahaha

As for silver flo... I need her to flower under 16-8 or something. To be viable outdoors where I am. So I need auto pollen for her too. The canopy in this box actually worked out ok, hahaha considering that these plants were staggered for a rolling harvest. Interesting semi stealthy leaf mutation on one of them. It also comes with one leaf per node. I'd like to pollinate a branch on her, but she is low priority compared to the two really well figured girls that came out of the bunch. The good news is they re-veg like no problem after the chop as long as there's a couple leaves left- so if I miss my window- i"ll get them next time. Haha

It takes a bit of effort not to tweak things too much. Hahaha.

That LR2 queen of the jungle is 26", and the base of her stem is tied down to the first set of leaves. In organic soil. With one feeding. I just tied down the ALH cuz I wanted to see her bow to the real behemoth. Anyways- that LR2 just is a whole lot bigger than I was anticipating, Are there large phenos in LR2 , or is this a fairly typical size for one?

She is two weeks older than the all the others. I wasnt surprised to see ALH get that tall that quick, and the other LR2 are performing similarly to each other- and are smaller than the other was. Anyway- looking at the brilliant photo just now I realize it's not really adequate for the question I'm asking.

In other news, the 12/12 crew keeps on keeping on.

A bit more measuring. Nothin crazy going on here. She's 22" plus 5" that's bent over touching the soil. Which was really just stretch early on and a bit of excessive stretch at a coiple nodes. But I'm pleased with that stature nevertheless.

I quit ph-ing the water. I think it's gonna work out ok. The only plants that ever had any real issue were the mi5 seedlings. I only gave the lr2 one watering of ph-d water, and it never slowed down. So the last two waterings have been normal. Lots going on in the cabinet these last couple days.

The mi5s that were struggling at first are fine now- it was more likely damn miracle gro perlite that they were upset about in there soil than the ph. I wish I had kept the top of that huge lr2 out of the lights a bit better. I clipped the burned tips off- I don't like to look at them.
