Hello, I'm Expertsetup and I have a love of sativa/haze cannabis. Spending my youth here in Cali I guess I developed a taste for Haze. Now you would think that here in Cali where my average daily temp year round is about 70°f haze would be no problem for me. Sadly I live on the coast well below 1000 feet and so am in the soaking wet 'Marine Layer' for some portion of every month of the year. This weather situation has me working auto into all my favorite strains to achieve various states of auto flowering to defeat harvest devastating botrytis and other moisture related complications.

The quest for elite selections has led me and my associates to invest in several packs of Cali Connection genetics. Most of my associates simply select keeper mothers after test grows. Headband, Diesel and Tahoe OG are the strains they selected from while I worked with two 12 bean mix packs. I ordered all the gear from Attitude preseason 2013 and grew out half my stock that year.

Here are the packs I worked with:

and here is the first packs grow out from 2013 which I made my selections from:

I grew out the second pack the following year with very similar results.

So now this year I started the seeds from one of my selections and ended up with 21 females and 2 males. Of the 21 females three started flowering in late April early May while another three have shown early flowering and are basically entering flower this last week.

Of the two males I selected, the one I used with the three fastest females has auto flowered. This would seem to confirm reports that Cali Connect Mixed Pack has auto in the lineage. Based on my 2.5 season grow experience with C.C. Mix Pack I would say that there are more than a few observable auto flowering traits on a small percentage of the plants.

Im looking forward to testing the seeds from these early spring plants and logging the results in this thread. Ideally I would be able to reach auto flower without any back crossing. In any case I'm optimistic that this will be an exciting process as I always seem to get so thrilled with each step of the progress.

I have some auto crosses I made last year that I put out a few week ago as seed, they are feminized pollen from a moby dick from dinafem used on a think different from dutch passion. Will be interesting to see how they turn out, hoping for a warm/sunny june to get them big!

thetreeman that sounds like a good mix, were both Moby Dick & Think Different the auto variety?

thetreeman here are my LR#2 sprouts that I started on the 3rd. Sounds like we started ours only a few days apart should be fun to see how it progresses. I plan on making some new crosses with the CCMPxLR#2 in both directions since I have an auto CCMP male. (CCMP cali connect mix pack)
