Saw this and it perfectly explained what I'm about to say. Players just sometimes need to have a crack at long distance, not just trying to walk it in and crosses, like Stirling last night, I was in a pub and the top blew off when we thought he had scored, lol the angle looked like it went into back of the net, even the net roll looked real.

Beckham has hit some amazing distance shots but that's just a fake attempt at a viral video from Pepsi. Careful holding of the can, getting a drink at the end with the logo showing, etc. I'm sure he could make those shots individually given enough time and a massive amount of attempts, but not so casually make three in a row. There are some incredible trick shot artists out there like Remi and Lassi who really do this stuff and have routinely backed it up when somebody challenges it:

Just got back from a big local gathering watching the game. Man, going from very nervous to crushed to elated to very nervous again all in a span of 5 minutes.
