That is outstanding. Hopefully that helps in getting marijuana moved from the US schedule 1 classification. It's absurd that it still sits as schedule 1. Come on Feds, get your heads out of your collective asses and make the damn change.

I hear ya bro, I’m jumping for joy ..... I remember in the late 60’s when it wasn’t classified then came the DEA and scheduled one crap around 1970ish so this has been long time coming for me and my teenage bride .... we are just flipping off our feet ove this ..... more and more states and change in DEA as well as head Flippin speaker and all that political junk, sessions and other sessions from Texas are gone ......

Numerous states are taking legislative actions and. Xpcounties and cites are changing, 2019 should be a good year, YES.

We can directly blame tricky Dick Nixon. He threw a ton of money into the fight against marijuana, as wayward as that was. Local law enforcement got huge chunks of cash. Nixon vilified the green and did his best to eradicate it. The fact that marijuana is classified the same as heroin and coke is mind boggeling and just plain moronic.

Let’s make this perfectly clear! Yes, I remember, diddle brain ...... and as respect as I have for him, President Reagan didn’t help either! Bush, Clinton and Bush laid low kinda but then Obama didn’t step up ..... funny if Trump, a republican, gets it done but I suspect the Feds are almost in a must do time, there just too much / many things positive happening.

And ........ Let’s not forget the gateway drug theory bs, yea right.

I hear you. Not mine. 2 reps with a D by their name tried to introduce legislation and were firmly kicked to the curb by the Rs. Pharking politicians must get this worked out but won’t be in my life time. Many arse backwards folks like Sessions are in my part of the world. Way too many.

the funny thing is that we are WHO we are,
because of the illegality of cannabis. if you have smoked for many years this fact is reality. and we all would be different people now.
who would we be if cannabis was always legal???:smokeout:

Great question, think I’ll smoke a big one and ponder .... OK I “thunk about it” ...... we would be in the same place / time BUT have a better understanding of the plant and it’s beneficial properties ..... Basically by weed being taboo for so many years we’ve stunted the growth and research that shoulda taken place ..... Basically we goofed up a lot of folks and spent a lot of time chasing our tails ...... I get mad at the “establishment” for keeping me in the closet for the last 45 years ..... I’m a product of the Vietnam Era and now today I feel like FU Guys come Bust Me now, I’ll drag the case out in court and fight with all I’ve got - go ahead and put a 67 year old man in jail for a plant (or two) ...... Once my State elected a New Governor who said he wants to legalize marijuana I feel it is now legal for me at least or will soon be .....

When Colorado legalized in 2014 I thought US may legalize by 2016 and that didn’t happen, I was bummed BUT 2018 brought hope ....

Can’t express how much better I feel after the 2018 elections and seeing all the states in line for legalization .....

2019 and forward should be all good, hoping!
