Lighting Worried! Autos not flowering under Mars Hydro Reflectors

Nope, only if they are all in flower! No adverse affect. Just creates more flowering hormone. If you have a plant or 2 in veg in will make it flower faster.

Sounds like a plan! So after the 24 hour lights off, do I go back to 18 hours or reduce to 12?

You can turn the lights off for 24 hours and really get the flower hormones running. With Photo periods, they call it shock flowering. Works real well with photo or auto. Some ladies are just stubborn that way. Give it a go and there is no ill affect. :thumbs:

Briman, I have turned my lights off yesterday and will put them on once the 24 hours are up. What would you suggest, go to 12/12 after that? I have been on 18/24 so far. Advice appreciated

20 in and 4 off. Should be right as rain. If bud production slows within a week or so, drop it to 12/12, Hit em good with some flowering nutes and you should be good with the 20 on 4 off. :check:

I have done the 24 hours off and put them on 20/4 now Also found today that the one Cheese I had in flower wasn't a female!!!!!! Not ever having grown a different strain, I thought the flowers looked strange, but I suddenly realized it was a male. Always had feminized seeds so was not on the look out for males. Never encountered one. Wow. Feeling pretty stupid!:no:
Took him out straight away of course. Can having a male plant in there have a bad influence on the girls? My partner has the same set up and the same problem with the girls not wanting to go into flower, so I doubt it was the cause of them being so reluctant. ...Anyway. They have had a grow spurt overnight and have all grown several inches, emptying the reservoir in the process. Something is definitely happening. Let's hope they are in panic mode and start to flowering properly now. Everything crossed........

Its the genetics dude, they're not that good, and yes having a male in there of he dropped pollen will cause your bud to become seeded

Is it easy to see if my buds have become seeded? Where am I looking for? Do the girls have to have proper flowers to become pollinated or would the preflowers suffer the same fate? So many questions....sorry....

Just Pistils showing can get impregnated I believe, but he had to drop pollen to impregnate them, you will see that calyxes get swollen if impregnated, other than that the plant will still bud up and everything, you will just have seeds in your bud
