Live Stoner Chat Wtf Is this?

I was definitely thinking it doesn’t look like any type of canna I’ve ever seen. I’ll post pics of the seeds when I get home, I still have 3 of them & they look like canna.

that aint weed. It might be ruderalis. Some of them have non lobed leaves.

I bet you got a 1 in a 10000 seed there. It likely means that breeder did not back-cross enough generations to get to 95% stability.

either that, or it's frickin lettuce.

that picture isn't cannabis either. it's just some weedspecies that happens to have ruderalis in the name(like there are tonnes of species called sativa too). it has a completely different genus-name in front.

kalyseeds I've heard of before, and I think he's just working with ducksfootcrosses.
kalyseeds claims it's a hop-cannabis hybrid. but I don't believe that story. the details just don't fit, and it's too unlikely to be true.
especially considering all the pictures of kalyseeds' plants I've seen look exactly like the webbed leaves you get from duckfoot.

for example that picture on seedfinder looks exactly like the leaves of some of my plants this year. those plants were a duckfootcross, and I put them on flowering shedule to sex, then revegged. the slight revegging symotoms combined with webbed leaves produced mostly single-bladed leaves and some with one point to the side like a thumb.

some examples:

young plant before sexing(so just webbed leaves, no revegging)

and later, a while after sexing, they, especially one plant, kept pushing out singlebladed leaves for quiet a while(but no smooth edges or other worse revegging symptoms)

there are many genera names in the cannabacea family, including humulus lupulus (hops) there are more than ten. It turns out the one in that photo is not, but is remarkably similar.

I have done a good bit of grafting, and this summer I may try to graft some weed onto a hops vine and see what happens. I have read journals where people have done it the other way, and grafted hops to weed. I don't see what the point of it is, but it works.

It will be interesting to see what happens. Like in my first post, could just as well be lettuce.

Cannabaceae comprises the following genera:
