Lighting WWWillie and The COBS

The thing is people have changed. The weed authority. The above grow is after numerous runs figuring out the single cobs. Some people like @Green Goblin and others figure it out quickly. Others like myself, well it took longer. Just because the op grow isn't up to someone else's standards doesn't mean anyone should come in and trash talk. It may take time, it may be genetics all sorts of things, personally I don't see any reason for the comment.

Thank you @BigSm0

I'm no pro by any means and this being my first run with Autocobs it did take some observation and adjusting..I had to watch the plant closely day in and out to see how she responded to these lights..One can easily underestimate the true power of these small lights and get a little carried away with distance being too close..It definitely takes some dialing in like with anything, and even the most skilled grower that claims he runs nothing but perfection is talking out of his ass.I don't care how long they "claim" they were growing for or how skilled they believe they are, we are constantly learning..I look at it this way, constructive criticism is ok depending on your intentions but to bash the shit out of someone trying to perfect a craft and putting in the effort and STILL producing results is stupid..Like, why are you even on this site? Go grow your idea of perfect buds and find something to do with yourself. I pushed the cobs to about 18" for a few days but after a day or two she let me know just back it off a little bit so I brought them back up to 21-22" for a few days and that is what she is comfortable at for the time being..I got nothing but respect for @BigSm0 and anybody else that likes growing and doesn't mind helping someone else..Since when was this a competition? Don't be a bitch..@wwwillie enjoy your harvest my man

Here is one plant under 2 Autocobs..and has plenty of growing to do

Man they are gonna be monsters if you get flowers like I did! Yowza!
Hye @BigSm0 check these out. I think you will appreciate them for what they are. I am going to do a thread on them in DIY Leds. I got the CPU coolers on sale at NewEgg for $1.99 and the 110v COBs for $1.87 from AliBaba! So for less than $4.00 US I got a 30watt COB!! Crazy. No idea where I will use them. I think they are compatible with lutron dimmers, if so a mother cab lighting system may have just been born.

Thanks guys. I have some pictures of the final product. I'll try to get them up.

The thing I tried to express in my thread about this little project is just how serendipitous it is. I ordered nothing for any specific purpose other than hey it's only 10 bucks. Less than a beer at a pricey restaurant. Then to sit there and have it all go together like it was by design! W00t!!
If they work for a while, cool. I'll prolly be on to something else but in the meantime it's a total blast.

Congrats on the harvest @wwwillie What strain was this? Sorry if I missed it I just skimmed through and didn't see..
It was Tangilope, a freebie photo fem I picked up somewhere along the way. I wanted a nice strong sativa so I chose her outa my bag o beans!

Here are the proceeds of my first COB for flowering harvest minus one jar and a bit here and there. My extended family have been busy already!! Close to 290 grams out of this one. That's about 1.32 gm /watt

All nice tight little buds after trimming. They were an f-ton of work to trim. I think I got more sugar leaves off this one than my last 3-4 harvests put together.
