Looking good man! Just saw your issue with the fungus gnats... i used the mosquito dunk bits i think they were called and would just sprinkle them on my soil then within a few days or a week they were taken care of

Thanks man!! Good to hear they worked for you that makes me feel better hopefully theyll be gone soon! Then ill really see what i can do

Woooooooohoooooooo!!!!! Shop is back open!! Just picked up a five pack of MBAP!! So stoked i had just one bean left i was gonna pop in a week or so and was worried I wouldn't get more which would be a bummer, this stuff is def in my top 5 of MG strains. Always a good ass yielder and the buds are always top notch, big, sticky sugary, stinky, very strong i could go on and on haha

The mbap is gonna be a treat! I can't wait till harvest time lol... I just picked up some chemdogging and SAL and then stumbled upon your journal lol

Definitely good.choices!! This is the second SAL ive grown and looks identical to the first one I grew. Nice chunky nugs, smells great kinda like paint citrus and earth. This is the third Chemdogging ive grown and this is one is on the smaller side my other ones were right around 24 inches tall. But excellent quality nugs very strong stuff!

Alright so everything is still looking pretty good. Cosmic Queen and Heisenburg Special are worrying me bit the fading/rusting is happening pretty fast dunno what I did wrong or of its still the fungus gnats just hoping I won't have to harvest early due to the fading creeping into the nugs
Bubbly Livers seem to have some browning going on as well not sure if it's gnats or if she wants stronger feeds dont see any burn on her but the leaves that are effected are so random to me it doesn't seem like shes underfed
All the others seem like theyre bouncing back and looking good. Both AVTs look better to me and look like theyre gonna start fattening soon definitely taking there time as bigger plants tend to.
SAL is doing her usual end of life fading I give her another week till she gets donated
Chemdogging is doing great her calmag issue from two weeks ago seems like its taken care of and shes on her way to flowering. This one is the smallest ive grown out of 3 but her structure is something i love shes got 4 side branches that are as tall if not taller than her main top.

Hey there, just saw the thread and thought I’d chime in on the gnats.

I’ve tried using gnat nix too, but like you, I’m in fabric pots. Unfortunately, since the roots air prune into the fabric, it gives the gnats a perfect place to lay the larvae.... on the sides and bottom of the pots. Same goes for those air pots.

I know the adults are not harmful to your plants but they can and will get stuck in the trichs. I recommend you get some yellow sticky traps to help.

Also, if you do get the mosquito dunks, make sure they’re not too old. I paid a bit more from my hydro store because I know they were “fresh”. I’ve heard multiple issues with the dunks not working and a lot of people believe it’s due to the decay of the BT.

Lastly, predator bugs are a great natural alternative that is becoming increasingly popular for pest control. They can be messy and expensive, but they’re effective. To quote the bug lady, “there’s no resistance to being eaten.”

Great journal so far yam!

I will be keeping an eye on your GWK grow @YadYam , as it is something I have been trying to gain access to for sometime!
Haha ive seen alot of people trying to get these, this is my last bean of it i had two but first didnt wanna pop i gave her two weeks and nothing, but think ill get two more cause i have a buddy who grew only photo periods and he loved my product way more than his so the last illuminauto drop we got a five pack of everything and split a bunch beans so he could try.he's still trying to figure out autos as hes stuck in his photo period ways but swears he wont go back to photos hahaha

Awesome thats a bunch of great info thank you! The gnat nix i did do a layer at bottom of planters and i add about 1/2 cup to soil once a week as bunch of it likes to settle down the sides when i pull on em when im moving em. Ive heard great things about diatomaceous earth i picked some up but i dont think its Food grade so ill get some that and mix in my soil when im prepping a planter for a bean, if i still have issues i was gonna try the nematodes
