Looks like to me its a little nitrogen rich for your plants. Next time I would take a seed starter mix to cut with it 50/50 and see if you have the same problem. Also your water PH of 6 will cause problems later. I like my water to be PH of 7 some like 6.5 but I find 7 to be safe. My water is bottled anyways so there is not much in it to influence the PH. It might go in at 7 but there is no calcium or anything in it to keep it there. I would PH your water higher if you can 6.5 minimum. I like 7 because your soil as it breaks down if there is not enough calcium will slowly lower over time and the water can keep it up a little. Autos are lighter feeders than a regular photo. You could put the top 1/4 of your pot a seed starter mix and the rest your regular soil and see how that works out for ya. This could also be an isolated problem. The first time I tried roots organic soil I must have got a bad bag and my plants started to die and I did not use it for a few years again thinking it was bad soil but now it is all I use and I love it so you could just have got a bag that was a little off. Your plant is so young it is a little hard to say cuz the PH being off could also be a problem. Your not using water fresh out the sink are you? If it is city water fresh from the tap it could the problem. Either way a PH of 6 on organic soil is too low. If you suspect the nutrients are a little high in your soil than I would do a flush. In that size of a pot I would water tell you have about 1 to 2 cups of run off using clean bottled water. You will have to have nutrients on hand if you flush. The first thing you will notice left the soil is nitrogen followed by magnesium so having your veg and cal/mag so you need to have some form of veg nutrients and cal/mag on hand to feed lightly with in a few days.
ah ok, i could check the old soil i have, i sealed up a large container of it to deprive the gnats of any air. also i am using distilled water, that tested around 6. currently using ghetto strip tests cause of my budget. was under the impression that it was supposed to be between 6-6.5 so thats what i roughly aimed for.
