crop kings- dwarf low flyer auto
sea soil organic compost from hydro shop
6.0 ish ph water,
6x 23watt veg cfls
in home made propagator
20/4 light schedule
23c/73f under the lights

so it has been many years since ive grown and i am super rusty so not sure as to wtf is up with these 2 lil ladies. They were germed march 12, popped outta soil march 14th.

the first pic has yellow tips and a brown spot on the top tip, no nutes used yet besides what the bag came with already added in.

the second one seems a bit curled/droppy in the one leaf, may have pre watered the soil a bit much before transplanting the peat pellet it was in. the light makes it appear if there is a bit of white shit on them, there is no mildew etc just how the lights above are hitting it.

side note, the dry soil on top is some i added after i watered and transplanted to cover the base of plant better, soil is plenty wet still

was just looking for bit of info cause i am not sure and dont wanna waste these cause they are for my fiances extreme migraines.

What do you mean by "random organic soil" ? Could be your soil is too hot for sprouts.

i pulled a derp, and thought organic soil meant no additives :P just checked the bag and its called sea soil compost. guy at the hydro store said it was a decent soil to start with, and was all my budget would allow.

as for the temp its only around 23c/73f in the grow box and soil doesnt seem very hot, but it is for sure warm to the touch

could it potentially be that one of the nutes already in the soil from the fish stuff, is a bit strong in that one plants soil?

Thats what I meant by hot soil. The stuff already in some soils are too rich for baby plants. Not the physical temperature.

ah gotcha, i can post the break down of the nutes in the bag if it would help. also if the soil is to "hot" will it just fuck these or will the be ok in time? i got another bag of soil but it had fungus gnats like crazy so i havent touched it

If it were a photoperiod plant I would suggest that it will be Ok. I have grown a lot of Crop King genetics and they are pretty resilient, but I am on my first auto grow and dont have the experience with them. Coincidentally my strain is nyc diesel from Crop King

Looks like to me its a little nitrogen rich for your plants. Next time I would take a seed starter mix to cut with it 50/50 and see if you have the same problem. Also your water PH of 6 will cause problems later. I like my water to be PH of 7 some like 6.5 but I find 7 to be safe. My water is bottled anyways so there is not much in it to influence the PH. It might go in at 7 but there is no calcium or anything in it to keep it there. I would PH your water higher if you can 6.5 minimum. I like 7 because your soil as it breaks down if there is not enough calcium will slowly lower over time and the water can keep it up a little. Autos are lighter feeders than a regular photo. You could put the top 1/4 of your pot a seed starter mix and the rest your regular soil and see how that works out for ya. This could also be an isolated problem. The first time I tried roots organic soil I must have got a bad bag and my plants started to die and I did not use it for a few years again thinking it was bad soil but now it is all I use and I love it so you could just have got a bag that was a little off. Your plant is so young it is a little hard to say cuz the PH being off could also be a problem. Your not using water fresh out the sink are you? If it is city water fresh from the tap it could the problem. Either way a PH of 6 on organic soil is too low. If you suspect the nutrients are a little high in your soil than I would do a flush. In that size of a pot I would water tell you have about 1 to 2 cups of run off using clean bottled water. You will have to have nutrients on hand if you flush. The first thing you will notice left the soil is nitrogen followed by magnesium so having your veg and cal/mag so you need to have some form of veg nutrients and cal/mag on hand to feed lightly with in a few days.

On the fungus gnats let your soil dry out reel good. It will help with that. After it has dried good you can take action to kill anything left that is alive or waiting to hatch.
