yellow leaf tips- but no nutes used yet ??

I use unsulfered molasis and epsum salt for a cal mag boost 1tsp per gallon every other feeding.

Ya cal/mag can me separate. Most nutrients that do have it don't have enough for how I grow. I have to use it when using bottled nutrients but part of it might be the fact that I use bottled water. I don't know if I would still need it if I let my sink water sit and used that. The water I use on my plants only has a PPM of 4 so it is stripped of all minerals so I have full control of what I am adding. What you can also use instead if your very carful is a little Epsom salt in your water. I think my Epsom salt I have now cost me around $2. I add it to my soil mix. I only use 1 table spoon per bag of soil as of now. When watering with it you only need it about 1 time every 2 weeks. I start at week 2. Add about 1 teaspoon to a gallon of water. With cal/mag I would add it to my feedings 1 time every 2 weeks also at 1 teaspoon per gallon. I don't water with it now and only add it to my soil before I use the soil while I am adding my other amendments. I am also only putting it in my bloom mix which I am planting in to at week 3 or 4 so I am not using or adding any cal/mag for at least the first 3 weeks but the way I grow now allows that. The way before with the bottled nutrients I had to use it.

In my experience the mag is eaten up as fast at the nitrogen. With in 2 to 3 weeks when growing in happy frog soil and watering with bottled water I had to start adding both a nitrogen source and a mag source. What I first liked was the cal/mag + that had 2.0% nitrogen in it as it had everything I needed in it but later stopped using it as I could not always use it in the bloom stage and if I just need the cal or mag and have nitrogen toxic like you do than it was also no good but if a grow was going good it was usually a good thing at week 2 for me as it covered the only 2 things I needed at that stage in the grow.
