Indoor Yet Another 1st Autoflower Grow - Royal Dwarf

Thanks for the tips, mates. I didn't have to dig far to find the seed case. They look like they're ready to pop! I dug them out so that the seed case is just barely penetrating the surface. I switched from the HPS to a single T5 and a heating mat. I know seeds need to be in the dark to germinate, but I also know that they seek light when they sprout. When should you turn a light on above them?

I run royal dwarfs all year round. They are a great well balanced smoke. In 4 years i have only ever had 2 seeds not germinate! I always place seed into soil from start then dont touch then till 2 week transplant into final container. They will be done at 63 days from seed. Some will look ready @ 8 weeks but i like to harvest all at the same time.I will run 30 at a time under 1000 watt hps and a 600 watt hps.I start them under the 600 watt which converts to a 600 mh.I do this for the first 2 weeks.royal queens creamatic is a great plant but on the larger side.I will be adding some royal critical auto this next rotation.Royal queen is one of my favorite seed breeders.Good genetics and good germination rates!

I place a light above them as soom as I place them in the soil but in my case the light is diffused because of my baggie humidity tent that I clace over the starter cups. Good luck and keep us posted

Wow good to hear mate. What kind of yields do you get per plant? Also, how would you describe the high?

My yields have became larger with experience. With max lighting and good soil and nutes.I always plan on average of one ounce per plant.Even though i pull up to 2 1/2 on some.30 brings me in 2 pounds no problem.Like yield size can very as well somtimes i get the lowryder type plants. But normally they average 20-30 inches.View attachment 152960View attachment 152961

I may have killed it. Removing the seed husk manually I accidentally snapped off one of the cotyledon. I think I need to leave these things ALONE.Think she'll make it? The remaining cotyledon has some brown on the tip but it does appear to be alive and photosynthesizing. Also I can see the very beginning of what will (hopefully) be the first leaf.

It should be fine! I have done that before.I only remove if they dont shed seed themselves. I bought a small pair of tweezers just for the job! I was thinking that when i germinate directly into soil. Most of my seedlings are above the soil within 3 days.I will be starting another 30 next thur. They always are up by sunday.I always start seeds so the first day from seed is at the beginning of a week.Gonna do some royal critical auto this time as well.Every order i try somthing different so i got some auto seeds berry ryders.O i just sampled some of my last round of royal dwarf after sitting 2 weeks to dry.Very relaxing yet social stone.Great for my chronic pain and neuropathy. My leg pain just melted away.
