Zamnesia GOTY 2nd leg - Week 6 update

Day 42

Girls are now on a feed at 1.5 ec and 6.1 PH, finally got my hand fert where I believe the pre fert soil levels were and the girls seem very happy, much colour has returned to the bigger of them and we are now finally out of the stretch. One more week of big bud before we move on to my favourite bloombastic.

I am finding it really difficult to take whole shots with the lack of space I have inside the room at some point I will make the massive effort required to take some proper shots or maybe I will get a phone with a better camera and wide angle photo's as an option (p30 pro Im thinking) I am definitely starting to get a very specific GSC stink when brushing through them so I am beginning to get rather excited as this is my first time with this strain photo or auto.

Chosen Battle plant, I ended up picking the worst looking of the 5 for the battle plant on the basis that at day 28 it was the biggest and looked the best, If I would have timed the pre fert switch better I think she still would have been but due to a lack of nutes for near a week the bigger girls suffered more than the smaller ones which is to be expected, as I said in a earlier post I am done with pre fert mixes for my starting pots.

Day 49

GSC auto

Now on an ec of 1.6 and ph at 6.3 ,Took quite a while for the girl to stop growing vertically but finally has ended, The buds have swelled considerably in the last couple of days so I am expecting a big difference between now and in a further 7 days. Didn't have much time to move all the girls around into the correct groups so just took a few shots of single plants for this week

Been fed on an EC of 1.6 and ph of between 6.1 and 6.3 bar a couple of days when I ran out of food and it was just water ph'd to 6.3

Now being flushed on plain water at a PH of 6.3, Will be getting chopped in the coming days, whenever I find the time really. The buds on this and the other 4 GSC I am doing are all 10/10 denseness :smoking:

I will get some nice shots of each plant before I do the harvest, In terms of growth I am really happy with these girls, very hardy plants and like I say they do produce rock hard buds.

Due to some foxtailing on some of the sticky fingers I was doing for another battle and the fact that the only reason many of the arms on the GSC were still holding up was the amount of silica I have given throughout the grow, I decided that it was time to take them down. The smells range from fruity to pure kush to dank OG all in all I am very very happy with how these girls turned out, both in terms of size and denseness and also the terp profile, being ready to harvest right on time for the 5/5 was also very impressive. Here are my pre harvest pics, I honestly can't wait to smoke some of this stuff. Will update with roundabout figures once it is dry and trimmed

Thanks man, every nug was also 100% dense, I highly recommend these seeds.

How long you have to be here I do not know but after a couple of grows on here I got a message from staff asking if I would like to take part. If you agree and it is a sponsored battle you will be able to choose from a selection of seeds that will be provided by the seed company free of charge. You then have to do a weekly update on the progress and complete a journal, at the end testers and mods get to vote on the best ones. I did 2 battles at once on my last cycle so all my seeds were free :smoking: felt sooo good.

Update on the results, the 5 came in at a total of 515g dry which gives a gpw of 0.97 which is a new record for me in this set up I would usually expect somewhere in the region of 0.8 to 0.9 gpw. Every single nugget is 110% dense and I'd say 60% is clearly identifiable as GSC using just your nose, the 40% that does not have the exact scent still has the GSC aroma but with extra fruity and sweetness added which I actually like and seems to compliment the other 60%. The Zamnesia website states 17% thc...... I must say I think the THC % is easily 20% and in the right hands much higher, I cannot smoke this during the day or morning as I get nothing done

Zamnesia GSC get Vincents seal of approval so much so I am ordering some in the coming days, will take some pics of the final smoke later.
