Hey!! Currently only on day 5 of my first grow and everything seems to be going okay so far. However there’s always plenty of room for error.. I was a little worried about Dr Jack cause of the colour and being so bright or yellow tinted in the centre, she’s growing a bit slower than Blue Dream. Hoping it’s just the strains natural colour!
Can’t wait for them to grow so I can get training them!
I planted in coco, worm castings, bat guano, seaweed meal and perlite but I’m looking into getting some extra dry amendment fertiliser like earth dust etc. and adding mycorrhizae just for a boost later on in the grow.

End of Week 1
End of the first week and having temperature and humidity problems.. I had my lights on during the day and off at night but since I got my thermometer I’ve realised it’s far too cold at night where I am (15.5C was the lowest). So think I’m going to let the plants have 24 hrs today then tomorrow I’ll switch it to go off in the afternoon instead.
I don’t have a humidifier cause I’m broke lol so put in a diffuser which works similarly just not as effective, the highest it’s been able to get to is 57% but it does drop into the 40’s.
Blue dream is doing well and Dr Jack is getting better, the brightness in the leaves is dying down and it’s growing, just really slowly.

Day 9: Blue Dream and Dr Jack
So blue dream is doing good and is onto it’s second set of leaves.
I’ve got my two fans running constantly pointed at each plant, 70% humidity, range from 17’C - 24’C.
Dr Jack however, is just so behind!! Although the bright colour is toning down it’s staying at the same growing stage and it’s stem isn’t thickening like the BD. Don’t know how else to help it

Day 15
So, a lot has happened since my last update..
Blue dream was starting to droop and curl downwards, she was treated with neem oil (since I thought it was unhappy due to spider mites) and I mistakenly did it when the lights were on so I burned the leaves
However they’re starting to un curl now which is good news and the new growth is looking healthy SO I’m hoping this was just a little blip..
And Dr Jack is suddenly starting a growth spurt so fingers crossed.
I’ve started brewing nettle tea fert for the first feed and I’m waiting on my bloom dry fertiliser and mycorrhizae arriving!

So the new growth on Blue Dream looks really good and I decided to do a Kelp Foliar spray to try and nurse it back to health. It’s already looking perkier than yesterday!
However I think I’m going to have to cull Dr Jack, she’s so skinny and has hardly grown since she popped her head out the soil. So deciding if I should replace her with something. Really wanted to try a Mephisto but there’s nowhere to buy them!!

Day 22
Tried LST but ended up taking the wires off cause I needed to give Blue Dream her first feeding! So she’s looking all crazy just now!
Her growth sped up the past couple days and she’s recovered well, however there’s slight light green rough looking discolouration on the leaves which I’m hoping is just a part of the plants normal growing cycle.
I killed the Dr Jack cause it was just pathetic at this stage.
