Chemdogging cross mother - pollination photos
So below is the Chemdogging x (forgotten cookies x tyrone purps {purp dad)) cross, about two weeks into flower. This is the point where I pollinated. The next day, I took these photos as I was moving plants around, because they were under a light that was not friendly to my camera.
KEEP IN MIND SHE IS ONLY IN 3/4GAL OF SOIL!!!!!!
She has grown beautifully at this point, seeming to hold true to her chemdogging mother. Almost completely. Her buds seem to be more akin to creme de la chem in structure, not as grown-together. there is more node-spacing, which i like. that was my only halfway-dislike about the chemdogging - that it made big, long colas the length of my arm. While those are beautiful, and look cool, I personally think the golf-ball sized, spaced out nuggets tend to be better developed, and more well-formed than the smashed-up ones. Thats my personal opinion though. She has been taking her feeds like a champ, drinking her soil dry every single day. Some days she will take up to a half gallon of feed. Big girl. if i had her in a 5 gal like some of my autos, she would be a MONSTER. She has capped out her height at just under 4 ft tall. (literally 4ft, 11 1/2in) with that classic christmas tree stance. Her branches do seem a little thin, though, so I will probably have to tie her up, or she may be dragging the ground at the end.
There are TWO pollinated branches, with a father of the same pollination as her. The Chemdogging x (forgotten cookies tyrone purps {purp dad}) you can see their pink ties in the photo below. She looks sparse but she is not. She just does has a low leaf-flower ratio. Thank goodness. I do not really like leafy buds, and they are harder to get good shots of. (yes i probably consider everything in terms of photography. )
for feeding, please reference my "auto feeding guidelines' page, within this (and all) journal(s) I do not alter feed for pollinated plants, and she is at the 2-week (flowering) mark for the schedule. So far she has not had any problems, or abnormalities. (I will update a cpl pages of her grow states, but she has looked like she does from the beginning, only smaller. She has always held that christmas-tree shape, and i have known from about the 3rd week that she was going to be the one I kept. She was twice the size of "ALL the other plants, even though i had 3 different mother/father combos growing. Straight chemdogging leaner)
