Here are a few pics. 6 days from germ-4 days from sprout. 1 6500k cfl and 250w hps. temps 77-80 humidity 35-40% :toke:

Well, let's get ya up to speed.
What up, now let's hop right on into this.. Strains involved..2 Paradise seeds vertigo and 1 Dinafem auto white widow. Growing for no other motive than the fact I truly love this plant and believe it was put here for us to use just like anything else in nature... Back to it.. 3 gallon pots with a 50/50 medium blend of fox farm lw and ff of. Lighting for veg not as optimal as it could be: one 6500k cfl for the widow and two 14in t5 for vertigos.. But I feel things will be alright..just want enough for myself. 250w hps will flower and my next veg a dual spectrum light will more than likely be used depending on results.. Would have done it this time but things really $$$$ start to add up and couldn't swing it this run, that's a thread of it's own- this cost moneyyy! Any way all this in a 36x34x60 in tent, 430cfm inline exhaust w/ carbon filter. Vornado vortex tower for circulation and passive intake. Temps stay between 77-80 humidity between. 35-40%. Light schedule 24/0. Paper towel method for germ. Only one day and beans were open and ready. They are six days old now.. Have given them one good watering thus far(besides the wetting of medium prior to planting) with all spring water. Getting ready for 2nd watering with molasses added this time and will introduce light nutes in 3rd watering. Sorry for such bulk.. Just had a lot to say and wanted to get this log up to date.

FYI: I used the 2 t5's and cfl 6500k the first four days.. Just switched to hps today with one blue spec. Cfl on the widow. Figured even tho I couldn't get dual spectrum hps bulb.. I decided I would still use it due to the massive diff. In lumen output.. I've read that autos will do fine under red spectrum for veg. Advise and tips always welcome! Thanks.

Autos will grow great straight under hps dude, and with cfl supplemental lighting. Your in for a treat with the widow..... Got one going at 8 weeks! Good luck bro Im subbed :D

Looks like your off to a good start. I agree, run the HPS the full cycle, veg and bloom.

Thanks for the feeback and comments! GotGreen I've seen ur Grow log.. 2 words.. VERY NICE! curious tho.. have you smoked the dinafem auto widow? if so how is it? And as to in for a treat... I surely do hope so!:dance:and for an update.. im having some heat issues, nothing serious highest temp reaching 82.... My ventilation system is up to par I believe.. my downfall being i have no where to send the hot air.... its dumping back into room.. and there is nothing i can do about that.... What I have been doing to help with heat is... keeping gallon jugs frozen and alternating them out... when one melts.. i put it back in freezer pull the other out and put it front of passive intake. this brings temps down around 77... also been placing damp rags on the bottom to raise humidity in hopes of dropping temps... Either way I think ill be alright as long as i stay below 85. I gave them second watering yesterday.. this time with added Molasses. Ill put some more pics up as they are starting to stack internodes! Cheers! :toke:

With the nutrients in the FF soil at this point all you need to feed is plain pHed water. Molasses won't be needed till later on when they are in full flower. Molasses is a source of calcium and your soil has plenty in it for now.

Yes.... But I figured it would help with the breaking down of the micros.. for better nute.. consumption. By no means am I question your knowledge Mr. Muddy... YOU THE MAN! lol. I just always heard.. that molasses cant hurt. But like i said you the man. I'll take the advise! Cheers!

I have to agree with Muddy that your soil will carry your plant throughout the vegging stage without supplements, but after that your soil gets depleted and you have to assist. I'm in the process of using a much larger pot to ensure my roots have plenty of room and hopefully carry the plant through harvest with a minumum of added nutrients. I'm also using 16 ounce pop bottles cut in half for my "budcicle" clones so I'm going large and small. But since they are clones, they need no vegging time, so hopefully, the soil ,with added nutrients, will carry them through to harvest. Aint growing fun!
