just touching on their info, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I do however have a problem with any line of nutrients that wants to sell you 5 or more jugs of anything, that are ALL a must for your garden. You do organics, so yes, you need a variety of items to amend your soil with. but once you have them you can make a lot of TLO, or supersoii, or whatever style you'd like to call it. But I bet the cost per grow is 80% less than any other form of supplying nutrients to your plant. And, your organic mix is most likely the best thing you can give your plants. I haven't gotten around to buying all that stuff, and I like to keep it simple.. I've been using Grow More Organic Soil Builder.. Want to know what’s in it? Its basically TLO in a box. Its a blend of the popular meals, guanos, etc. And Here's what I love about it.
1. It works! I've got soil that’s on its third recycle, that’s been amended whit only the Grow More stuff. Having no issues with my soil, no deficiencies..
2. Cheap! Around $7.00 for a 4 pound box. I don't even know how many plants I've used it with, yet I still have a fair amount left. Now I'm playing with worm castings, making my own. And you know what? Worm castings do just about every thing Nectar of The Gods claims for its products. Nectar looks to me like a product trying to create a nitch, rather than fill a need. Just MO on that is all, not even saying I'm right, but I hope it is food for thought.
I understand, we are always searching for something better. I am too. But I think we need to concentrate more on what we know works, and how to make that better, improve our techniques and or knowledge of plant biology etc, so that we can move beyond the many "growers myths" that still abound, and advance our passion for growing in a positive manner.
