Bushdktr's 4th attempt brewing compost tea
OK guys, so I finished my brew this morning...very happy now, I think it was just a matter of proportions with the molasses, I followed strictly the proportions, so it was 2.5% compost and 0.5% molasses in my rain water. Brewed with a small aquarium pump (I know they're not very pro.. but maybe ok for a small container?) in a 5 lt. bucket (sorry about the metric system lol !!). I added only 1.5 grs of trichoderma harzianum. Temps were between 20 and 25C during all the brew and pH started at 7.4 and finished at 5.8 (sorry EoF I won't measure it again as from now LOL!!). The smell is earthy and fungal and will definitely feed my girls today with it (for those interested I've got two autos at day 29, see my thread
Bushdktr's new venture Cream Caramel + Blueberry).
I have one more question for our guru EoF: you mentioned worm castings, my compost is full of them, so hopefully should be enough our you still recommend adding some extra? I never know what stuff my compost really has and what it doesn't! haha. I can tell you it surely has a lot of goodies, cause my "other" plants love it as you can see:

I make it out of all the organic garbage, vegetables, cheese, egg shells, coffee, tea, etc. except animal leftovers, plus all the pruning from the garden and orchard, and some wood ashes every now and them, so I know there's plenty of Nitrogen, Carbon, Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium, not very sure about Phosphorus or other oligoelements, but I can tell you the flowering of my orchard is superb, so I'm confident it should have pretty much in there.
Thanks for all the help, and congrats for an awesome thread!
