100% Organic Grow.

Because of course we wouldn't be breaking the law by growing riiiiight?? Hahaha clearly being sarcastic on that. Shit man when I see someone that can benefit from this you can bet your buns I'm gonna help like seriously I just feel this rediculous urge to want to help others you know ugh

In regards to the GO line Freedom you'll definitely want to stay clear of it for the simple fact that it uses acid based chelation. In case you don't know what that means, it's basically a way of force feeding nutrients through the cell wall. "Natural"(non forced) chelation revolves around building a food soil web where the roots generate food(exudates) that attracts microbes which in turn attract other microbes who in turn produce the type of nutrients the roots can easily take up for nutrition. Using acids skips this entire process at the expense of all that life. What you're left with is the need to continue using bottles to feed your plants, and a recycled soil with a gnarly pH issue.

I love how your thread has become a University Eyes man :tiphat:

If you're asking me Nam it's from "Teaming with Microbes" by Jeff Lowenfels

edit: It occurs to me you were asking about the GO line comment, I was referring to the Fulvic and Humic acids in the Diamond Black that comes in the GO Box.

Bushdktr's 4th attempt brewing compost tea

OK guys, so I finished my brew this morning...very happy now, I think it was just a matter of proportions with the molasses, I followed strictly the proportions, so it was 2.5% compost and 0.5% molasses in my rain water. Brewed with a small aquarium pump (I know they're not very pro.. but maybe ok for a small container?) in a 5 lt. bucket (sorry about the metric system lol !!). I added only 1.5 grs of trichoderma harzianum. Temps were between 20 and 25C during all the brew and pH started at 7.4 and finished at 5.8 (sorry EoF I won't measure it again as from now LOL!!). The smell is earthy and fungal and will definitely feed my girls today with it (for those interested I've got two autos at day 29, see my thread Bushdktr's new venture Cream Caramel + Blueberry).

I have one more question for our guru EoF: you mentioned worm castings, my compost is full of them, so hopefully should be enough our you still recommend adding some extra? I never know what stuff my compost really has and what it doesn't! haha. I can tell you it surely has a lot of goodies, cause my "other" plants love it as you can see:

CT1.jpgOrch1.jpg

I make it out of all the organic garbage, vegetables, cheese, egg shells, coffee, tea, etc. except animal leftovers, plus all the pruning from the garden and orchard, and some wood ashes every now and them, so I know there's plenty of Nitrogen, Carbon, Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium, not very sure about Phosphorus or other oligoelements, but I can tell you the flowering of my orchard is superb, so I'm confident it should have pretty much in there.

Thanks for all the help, and congrats for an awesome thread!

:tiphat:

What kind of bloom nutes can I feed my plants then without destroying my soil? Perhaps a tea made from my dr earths 572?

you can get those handful of fore mentioned products and brew a tea from transition through (increasing as the week(s) go on sliiiightly) and three four weeks till harvest and rinse clean just prior to cloudy n thats it.the two three weeks you clean her out should pop it nice n freshly sweet man.

and again,if your soil dont buffer well make sure you dilute that tea man of no less than 1:1 with that rain water.:Sharing One: a sprinkle of epsom prior to feeding mixing often!! assuming youll use some molasses too.which is also good for flowering

hey medi bro,lol yeah kinda weird actually lmfao!! i guess its practice for when i goto shops looking for grow and consulting work lol.we'll see how that all works itself out.i just wanna grow some buds man lol
