hello im growing cannabis for the 1º time and im using some bubbelicious seeds, my grow box has 1 metre square and i have 3 cfl bulbs with 2700 and 40w and another cfl bulb with 6500k and again 40w ~
so this make 160w and the equivalente is around 400w.
i have a 50w fan working all day only turn is off at night because the room can get a little colder . the average temperature is around 25 degrees Celsius.
my problem is that i look at my plantas with 15 days old and they look very small compared to other ppl pictures. and i would like to know if someone can tell me some tips to improve the quality of my plants

just remember. use the actual watt's. equevelent watts mean nothing..so at 3ft by 3ft your at 9 squar feet... minimal wattage is 50 watts per square foot equaling 450 watts....for about 16 dollars at lowes you can get 65 watt 2700, I wold try to get it up some more, closer to 300... 6 bulbs three shop light 3 splitters the kind that screw into the socket ,like this...

personaly 20/4 or 18/6 is optimum, they get growth spurts in times of dark.

hmm nice one more question
and what distance should the lights be away from the plants?

With your cfls you can go just a few inches away just put you hand between the light and the plant if feels hotter than the sun outside is to close. I've seen people with cfls nearly touching the plant without damage. They look pale so looks like may be hungry and low light. What soil are they in have you given nutes and how often do you water?

she seems really yellow have you ph'd the soil or given her nutes also what soil is it as she seems to have nute burn from the pictures.hope she gets better mate :) :karma: to you

They are pretty yellow ...but I don't see the nute burn... if you were to tell us more about your soil and nutrient feeds that would help a little but before anything you need more light like auto said... what is the humidity in the room ? out of curiosity ...
