Day 17

Okay so after waking up yesterday and finding the PH at 6.4 I set the the PH to 5.6 last night in preparation..woke up today and still 5.6 so I upped it to 5.7 with Rhizo. Seems very stable right now. To me she's looking a lot better today, really hoping she pulls through. New growth looks clean, especially the smaller under growth which is emerging faster than my soil plant, starting to stretch in all directions and now is a similar size to the soil plant at the same age. The first few sets of leaves didn't really get the chance to grow as well as the soil plant due to the PH issues but now that we're more comfortable she's matching the soil growth if not slightly surpassing it. Here's some (a lot of) pics so let me know what you think

Obviously we're not in the clear yet but we're still fighting.

On a side not she also seems very susceptible to leaf bleaching from the LED, I've got it more than 30" away at this point to let her breathe, anything closer and she's not my friend, NL seems to take it slightly better but still 30" max right now

bubbles away bro !!! those diffusers you got look better than mine ... so good I think you need to drop the water level & entice more roots down into the res Pal ...could be why things are a bit slow ... there happy in the net pot mate lol :stylez rasta smoke:can you send me a link for those diffuser you got Pal? :thedogsbollocks:

I am super happy with it's performance bro, it's made by Angel Aqua and it's the third one down on this page (220mmX40mm)

I'll go take a Litre or two out on your recommendations vira, come to think of it they must be happy in the netpot because one root came out, circled half way round the netpot and went back inside to stay cosy xD :smokebuds:

EDIT: If you go to page 1 you can see it fits perfectly in the bottom of the bucket once the piping is attatched, win.

Day 18

Shorter update today guys, I took two Litres out of the res to encourage more roots to emerge from the net pot yesterday, PH remains at 5.7 very stable, EC 1.0. She's still growing but it's hard to get decent photos to show her true colours. Her new undergrowth is nice and green and the top leaves improve with each set so hopefully she's happy with her res right now. Any suggestions etc welcomed as always : Is she looking okay for her age yet?
